Error Messages not displaying for WC Fields Factory

Hi there,

I am using WC Fields Factory plugin so my sellers can add text boxes to their product pages to allow customers to enter details for personalisation of the product.

For the text boxes that are required to be filled in, if a customer does not enter text in the field on the product page and then tries to add the item to basket, an error will appear.

However, using this theme, the error no longer displays and instead just puts a pink box at the bottom of the screen (see screenshot)

Hi Karen,

This issue because this plugin don’t support ajax add to cart, please disable ajax add to cart in WooCommerce > Settings > Product > Add to cart behavior > Uncheck 2 last fields

Oddly that prevented any items being added to checkout, so had to re tick them again.

When you uncheck 2 fields after add to cart it still add product to cart but don’t show cart sidebar or popup

I checked basket and it was still empty – bizarre!

I’ll speak to the plug in developer to see if he can help.

Hi Harry, thanks for checking. I removed the ‘required’ on the fields, so with them being no longer required, no validation message needs to appear 🙂
