  How to increase the height of the meta slider. i have changed the meta slider height to 600px but the homepage is still 400px.

  The height of slider defend on height of your image. If you want increase height of slider you increase your images height.

  yes my images are all 1170 by 600px but it resize to 412 px in height which i cannot change.

  I changed slider width to (1170 x 600) now the images display correct.

  You number is ( 1700 x 600) so the height will be reduce.
