Menus changing for mobile size device

If a device is smaller, the menu changes to mobile device style, the 3 dash lines.  This is fine, but when device is larger than ipad landscape, how can we make sure menu is treated as desktop style.  the menu seems to change too soon.  Some smaller laptops are getting this mobile type menu here:

and i want them to get this type:

Hi,

On desktop small screen user can click to show menu but on tablet device the user can’t click on sub menu if we don’t change to mobile style. So we have to change menu to mobile style on tablet landscape.

how to switch a desktop computer to regular menu.  its showing the ipad/mobile version on a small desktop
