      Hi,

      We have just purchased the Claue theme to install on a current online store which we have. That store is live, it runs on the Blanco theme from 8theme.

      Given that the store is live, we need to convert it from Blanco to Claue with as little disruption and issues as possible. Because of this, we also do not want to import all of the sample demo data during installation as this would likely cause more issues than necessary.

      We will set up a staging site on our server and Claue will be set up on this before it is pushed live.

      On a different site where we installed Claue we noticed that when we installed it without the demo data, a lot of the layout was missing and we couldn’t add it easily to make it look like the demo we wanted.

      Do you have a step by step guide of how to install certain parts or layouts of the Claue theme without also installing all of the other sample data?

      Alternatively, if we advise which layouts and sections we are looking to set up, can you send us information on how to install just these?

      Also in general, when migrating to Claue from other Woocommerce themes (such as Blanco), is there anything we need to be aware of about Claue which could cause issues?

      Many thanks in advance.

      Hi Harry,

      Many thanks for sending that attachment. Aside from the sample page layout, how can we get the other structure of the Claue theme (menus, headers, footers etc.) without doing the full demo import? Is there any other other way to add these separate elements – say through the WP Bakery Page Builder?

      On the Claue documentation it states that a full demo import will remove all of the old data on the site. Will the same happen if we do an import of some parts of it only – like the sample page layout?

      Many thanks again.

      Hi Netmined,

      1. The menus and header you can change in Claue > Theme Option > Header

      2. For footer, please send me your site. I will help you setup

      3. All other elements on homepage you have to use PageBuilder that contain in .xml file i attached in prev reply.

      Hi Harry,

      Many thanks for your reply and the offer to help set up the footer – that would be much appreciated.

      We now have the theme uploaded and active on our staging website. The staging url and password details are below so you can get in.

      We have not uploaded the extra zipped file yet just in case. We’re worried about this importing the sample data as well.

      Essentially, what we are after to try to set up is the Home 4 Layout on the front page (the product categories one), with the shop left sidebar layout and product detail layout with the product thumb on the right. The header as header 4 in the demo and the footer layout as per the demo homepage on Home 4 Layout is fine.

      Not sure how we go setting this out with page builder. Is there some documentation you can point us to which outlines this step by step.

      Hi Harry,

      Many thanks for adding the sample home layout, much appreciate it.

      Regarding the PHP version – which one is the absolute minimum we need to run Claue theme well, so that we can ask Siteground for this.

      Lastly, you mentioned earlier that we will need your help to set up the footer. Can you let me know what elements we can set up by ourselves? It will help us save hours on trying to figure it out ourselves.

      Thanks again!

      Hi Harry,

      Many thank for the info and the extra work on the footer, that has really helped.

      We have updated PHP to version 7.2 as suggested and will work on adding the rest.

      If you don’t mind, we would like to leave the thread open for an extra few days as we are currently doing the conversion on the staging copy (just in case any issues come up).

      Thank you again!

      Hi Harry,

      Apologies for the late reply and many thanks for sending through the fir, it worked.

      Wordpress 5.0  (Gutenberg) has just been rolled out. Are we safe to update our WP to this – will Claue work with Gutenberg?

      Thanks in advance for your reply.

    • #27522

      Alternatively, will the theme work on WP 5.0 with the Classic Editor plugin installed? (apparently this plugin will be made available until 2021).

    • #27526

      Hi,

      It now our theme still work well with WordPress 5.0 with the classic editor. Or you can use this plugin to disable Gutenburg https://wordpress.org/plugins/disable-gutenberg/

      Hi Harry,

      Many thanks for getting back to us regarding the issues so quickly, really appreciate it.

      Thank you too for the fixes – some things worked, others not, so will go through those below:

      -slider size on desktop is fixed, thank you! On mobile however, it is still far too big and cut off awkwardly. We do have responsive mode for mobile switched on on layer slider so not sure if there is a conflict somewhere with the theme. It does display correctly with these slider settings on the live site.

      -image cropping. We know about those image optimisation sites so happy to use those. But could you please let me know what the maximum product dimensions (width and height) need to be on the product page to display correctly and all the same size? What do we need to be cropping them to?

      -thank you for the fix on the product categories sidebar. The list now appears as it should on the side. For some reason though, it only appears when the page ‘Dresses’ (the main shop page) is selected but not on the other top menu category pages like Occasion Glam, ‘On Sale’ etc etc where it should also appear. We do have the categories widget added to the primary sidebar and we also have the sidebar view enabled on those categories. It appears with this set up on each of those menu pages on the live site so not sure what is going wrong here. Could you advise?

      -thank you for the code snippet for the main menu (lobster font). The menu is super tiny now so we’ve added this code snippet to the style.css:

      .jas-menu > li > a {
      font-size:25px!important;
      }

      It hasn’t worked – could you suggest an alternative one that does?

      -Newsletter Sign Up Row (above footer). We’ve set up a page through Bakery Page Builder as you suggested. Added the row but could not get the text option to add inside the row (it now appears above it). We also added the shortcode for the newsletter alongside the text. This along with the text all stacks one under the other rather than in one line as it should in the row. How can we fix this?

      -multi currency not geolocating and not switching on page. So firstly, we did the steps you suggested before switching on the WOOCS plugin to see if we could run the multi currencies & geolocating correctly just with that. 1) switched off Complianz plugin; 2) set woocommerce settings to “default customer location”. Unfortunately this did not fix the issues – 1) currencies do not appear to geolocate, 2) if you switch the currency, it still does not switch on that page, and 3) the currency rate does not automatically update even though the API is set up correctly. (it will update manually if prompted)

      Before I move on to us testing the multi currency set up with the WOOCS plugin switched on, I just wanted to clarify with you what the multi currency set up on Claue is meant to be able to do on its own without integrating it with WOOCS. We were advised that it does geolocate (ie a user in Australia landing on the site would see shop prices in AUD and AUD as the selected currency as opposed to the store’s default USD). Does it definitely do this on its own? If yes, let’s try to fix the issues on it alone rather than trying to integrate WOOCS into it.

      We did also try to see if switching the WOOCS plugin would solve things. It only made it worse. While it did geolocate – it showed prices in the right currency for the region on the shop page BUT the currency symbol at the top right corner was incorrect (showed USD and would not change). Also the currency could not be changed on the page at all, not even on another page (which previously happened with the plugin switched off). Yet to see if it will autoupdate the rates (set to 24hrs).

      If the multi currency set up on Claue is supposed to be able to geolocate, we would prefer to just fix it and run with this rather than layering up another plugin like WOOCS over the top of it. So please let us know.

      If Claue can’t geolocate on its own, please let us know the exact set up you’ve integrated with WOOCS since its definitely not working at all right now. The set up we have on the plugin is the exact same one we have on the live site and its working fine there.

      Thanks again, much appreciate your assistance!

      Hi,

      1. Please remove slider height http://prntscr.com/mdjye6

      2. I see you set product single page layout is full-width so please use product image is 826 x 1000 and go to Appearance > Customise > WooCommerce > Product Image and change main image width to 826 and catalog image width to 470 and you should make them same dimension

      3. Please uncheck in “Only show children of the current category” http://prntscr.com/mdk08x

      4. It now your site still have cache, please clear cache for it work. Please go to cloudflare and clear cache on your site

      5. You should create new newsletter form it separate with old form in footer with style as you want and use shortcode

      6. Yes, the currency integrated in our theme work well with Geo without WOOCS. Please go to cloudflare and clear cache on your site

      Kind regards

      Layerslider responsiveness – taking out the slide height broke it but we figured out the answer – under ‘Full-width slider settings’, you need to specify the pixels for ‘responsive under’ and ‘layers container’. We played around with some numbers and it turned out to be the width of the slider photo – 1280 px. This seems to have fixed it.

      Thanks for the image dimensions – we have loaded them and we’ll reload the images which are cut off to see how that works.

      WP Bakery Builder for the new row above footer – sorry but I didn’t understand your answer. Would you mind taking a look at the draft of the page we’ve built for that and let us know what the problem is? The text and form fields need to go inside the row (it is not letting us transfer it there) and the need to be all on one line.

      Currency settings – so we’ve switched the WOOCS plugin off again. Cleared all caches including cloudflare. Same error as before – it does not geolocate – it always shows prices only in USD (eg. user from UK loads site but prices show up in USD not GBP) and it will not change currency on the page (eg. on dresses page you change from say USD to GBP, it stays on USD). These are not caching issues, something else is the problem.

      We even switched off Cloudflare and tested it from proxy servers in different countries to see the currency which would load and if it would change currencies on the page and the issues were still there.

      Thanks again in advance.

      Hi,

      I thought plugin Mailchimp for wordpress can create one more forms but it only support one form so you only use 1 form for both layout: Above footer and inside footer

      Please add class for newsletter form above footer and use CSS to style https://staging1.1950sglam.com/mc4wp-form-preview/?v=e14da64a5617

      I’m not sure which cause the issue on your site but when i try on my local the GEO currency still work well http://take.ms/LSXvAr

      Please try disable plugins and only enable recommend plugins

      A follow on from the previous post. So we’ve worked out what you did and were able to reverse it. We can now log into the site’s WP admin panel again.

      Changing the Woocommerce setting from “geolocate” to “geolocate (with paging cache support)” adds  an ‘?v=hash’ IP address hash to every single url on the site. This does not fix the geolocation issue, just breaks the admin panel login because of that string and creates other issues.

      In the video you showed above from your website, there are none of these strings attached to the url’s and the woocommerce settings are just ‘geolocate’.  So the currency locating and switching in Claue can work on these settings but it is not working on our sites. Its not working with WOOCS either (even though WOOCS works on our site with the old theme).

      We paid for this theme for two of our sites, with extended support for both of them (not just once) and right now we have a theme that does not have this currency feature working properly on either site. Telling us to use WOOCS when WOOCS causes other currency errors which we already explained is not the answer.

      Could you please investigate the issue and advise on the fix.

    • #28675

      Hi Harry,

      Any progress on the geolocating issue? The currency still defaults to USD when they load up the site regardless of customer’s location.

      Many thanks

      P.S. Our host provider Siteground have confirmed that nothing on their end is causing this.

      Hi Harry,

      Thank you for your reply and Chúc Mừng Năm Mới!

      We managed to get the WOOCS currency plugin properly integrated and working which means that with the plugin activated, the prices are now geolocating based on user’s country IP. We will be able to test if the rates autoupdate feature is working properly in a day or so.

      One issue however. In switching to the WOOCS plugin, we had to switch of the Claue currency switcher and change to the WOOCS one. We have inserted the shortcode for it into the header but the styling is now off and it doesn’t fit at all with the Claue look.

      We have tried adding adding some different custom css code to at least reduce the width of the box and remove the container (outline) its in but none of what we tried has worked.

      Can you suggest some css code for this or to change the style and look of the currency switcher to the Claue one?

      Many thanks

      Hi Harry,

      Thanks so much for the code, it worked, thank you kindly!

      We’ve now completed the set up for this site and have some hopefully final issues to resolve.

      – In the shopping cart the green ‘continue shopping’ button doesn’t go anywhere, nothing happens when you click on it – assuming that it should redirect back to the store page?

      – How can we remove the subcategories boxes on the Dresses page which now appear?

      – Can the filter headings on the product catalogue pages be made expandable/collapsible – is there some kind of a code snippet we can use for that? Otherwise all the filter options carry on down the page for an eternity.

      -The search option currently gives out of stock results too, how can we prevent the items which are marked as out of stock from appearing?

      -We’ve created a ‘New in’ page on the menu. The same sidebar option is enabled as for the other pages, however only the categories show instead of the filter which should also show like on the other pages.

      -Is there a lazy load option built in for the site? Is so how do we enable this?

      -On the home page, below the slider in the static row, under ‘customer reviews’ we added some text with a link to a page with customer reviews. However, the link keeps disappearing and/or going to a 404 error. Can you advise how to add a link inside this ‘icon and text’ field in the pagebuilder?

      -The pictures on the homepage. We added a customer gallery, used the same pixel dimensions as the demo photos from the Instagram feed (320×320) yet the pictures came out much larger. So we ended up scaling back the pixel dimensions on the customer gallery photos ourselves (under Don’t you look lovely!’) but now they are no longer responsive on mobile. Could you advise how this is done? We did follow the settings which were there for the demo instagram feed.

      This is the same with the photos above linking to categories (eg one is Shop skirts). These were set up in the demo as boxes, yet these uploaded as rectangles. We could not find anywhere inside the pagebuilder box options where we can change the dimensions or reduce the size.

      10. We’ve now reactivated Site Ground’s caching plugin in to try to speed up the site, and we have minification and other options enabled, however the site load Tools.pingdom is still extremely slow.
      (see:  https://tools.pingdom.com/#5a45da7a6c800000  )

      Any suggestions on how to speed this up? We are already running into issues on some browsers like Edge with lazy loading (slider doesn’t appear) so not sure that an extra minification option is the way to go.

      Thanks very much in advance for your assistance.

      Hi Netmind,

      1. Please add below code to claue-child > functions.php

      add_filter( 'woocommerce_continue_shopping_redirect', 'my_continue_shopping_redirect', PHP_INT_MAX );
      function my_continue_shopping_redirect() {
        return 'http://mysite.com/shop/';
      }

      change mysite.com with your domain

      2. Please go to Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Product Catalog and follow this screenshot http://prntscr.com/moy6pl

      3. I’m sorry the YITH plugin doesn’t support expandable/collapsible if you want you have to change plugin https://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-product-filter/8514038?s_rank=45

      4. Please go to WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory and check in “Hide out of stock items from the catalog”

      5. Please go to Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Product Catalog > Default product sorting > choose “Sort by latest”

      6. Please go to Theme Option > WooCommerce > Product Listing Settings > Pagination > Choose Loadmore

      7. I’m sorry the element “Icon & Text” doesn’t support insert link. Please add custom HTML code and insert link

      <div class="jas-service tl">
      <div class="icon medium cp" style="color: #696969;"><i class="pe-7s-star"></i></div>
      <div class="content"><h3 class="title cp tu fs__14 mg__0 mb__5" style="color: #000000;"><a href="https://yoursite.com/reviewlink">CUSTOMER REVIEWS</a></h3><p class="mg__0">Your text content</p>
      </div></div>

      change “https://yoursite.com/reviewlink&#8221; with your link and “Your text content” with your text

      8. Please edit gallery and change thumbnail dimension like this screenshot http://prntscr.com/moybpu

      9. For page builder it doesn’t have option to crop image or reduce image size and dimension. I recommend crop on your computer before upload.

      10. Please optimize your images now exist on your site https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-smushit/ and optimize at https://tinypng.com/ before upload

      Hi Netmined,

      For search, please try plugin on this topic http://support.janstudio.net/forums/topic/ajax-search-plugins/

      5. The page you’re using for “New Arrival” is custom page not shop page or category page so it doesn’t support to show filter on custom page, you have to create “New Arrival” category and assign product for this category or setting show short by latest.

      7. Please create 4 columns and 3 cols use “Text & Icon” element and 4th column use Custom HTML element

      8. Please use “Media Grid” element, i help you do it

      9. You need to activate plugin WP Bakery PageBuilder and Claue Addon to home page running.

      10. Please go to Pages > New Arrival > Edit and scroll down to Page Layout Option > Page Title > Off.

      Hi Harry,

      Thank you very much for your reply.

      5. We don’t mind making the ‘New Arrivals’ page into a Category instead of a page. But when we create it as a category, how can we show nothing but ranging by latest products? (basically we want to show the shop page results but this time to show them in ‘latest’ order instead of custom sort) With adding categories, it looks like it is just manual clicking to add products to them. Let us know what you meant by showing ‘sort by latest’ just for this one category.

      7. Thank you, that worked great! 🙂

      8. It looks like it is already a media grid. Did you go ahead and switch it from gallery to media grid? If yes then thank you! 🙂  We originally scaled down the photos to make sure they would fit the container but the quality (especially on mobile) is terrible. We know that page builder does not do default sizes for images but do you know what should be the best pixel size dimension for this layout?

      10. We know about switching the page title off. But apparently this has a really bad impact on SEO because the page title is a H1 tag (is this true?). If we can’t switch off the page title, can you please tell us where we can change the colour of the big grey band and the text? We tried a few different ones in ‘typography’ but none of them were the right ones.

      11. The new site has been live for a few days now and we noticed that the yith newsletter popup keeps popping up every time you load up the website even though we selected in the setting for it to go away for 3 days after it has been closed by a user. We have now had to switch it off altogether because it would not stop. Could you please let us know how to force it to not show for 3 days after someone closes it?

      Thanks again!

      Hi Harry,

      Thank you for your reply.

      I think you misunderstood a couple of my questions though.

      5. We only need the ‘sort by latest’ on the New Arrivals page, not for all of the product categories. This is why we set up New Arrivals as a separate page. But we need it to look like the other shop pages and to have the Woocommerce filter on it. You said above that it is not possible to have the filter on the normal page, only on the category or shop page. So we can change New Arrivals from a normal page to a shop category, but how can we then have the product sorting just for this category to be ‘sort by latest’? Or if this is not possible, can you advise what code snippet we need to add to get the product filter to appear on the current New Arrivals page?

      8. Thank you kindly for that. 🙂  The question was, we know that page builder does not do default sizes for images but do you know what should be the best pixel size dimension for this media grid layout? We need to know so we can optimise the images properly.

      10. We already have a background uploaded for the whole website but the question was not about that. When the page title is switched on, it has an ugly big grey band across the screen with the name of the page in white in the middle. See here  https://prnt.sc/mv1vfu   How can we change the colour of the grey band and the writing? We have tried a few of the typography settings but none of them worked.

      11. We did clear the cache and the pop up still kept popping up on multiple visits even though it was set to stop for 3 days. Thanks for the suggestion on the other plugin, we’ll take a look.

      Thanks again.

    • #29539

      Hi,

      5. I’m sorry it doesn’t option for only one category sort by latest, it will apply for all. And can’t add filter for custom page

      8. I think it now you’re using 320×320 is the best. It good for desktop and mobile too.

      10. Please add below code to Claue > Theme Option > General Layout > Custom CSS

      .page-head::before {
      	background: rgba(0,0,0,0.5);
      }

      and change 0,0,0 as your RGB color and 0.5 as opacity from 0.0 to 1.0

      Hi Harry,

      Thank you for your reply and the code snippet. We’ve added it in the custom css field but no change. We also tried adding it in the style.css folder in the theme editor and no luck there either. All caches were cleared before we tested it.

    • #30265

      Hi Harry,

      The code snippet to make the page title invisible works great but it should only do this on the New Arrivals page, not all of them. How do we amend the CSS to just work only on that page?

      Also, there seems to be an issue with product category descriptions not appearing on the page. For example we have category text for the Wedding Glam’ section which should show up on the page but it doesn’t. We’ve played around with the settings but can’t seem to be able to make it come up.

      We also need to make this text appear at the bottom of the page, below the products for that category rather than at the top. Could you please let us know how to switch this?

      Finally, a couple of question about the home page. We can’t find any H1 tags on the home page for the store name. Most themes and sites these days seem to have the shop logo be the H1 tag. How do we do this? For obvious reasons, we don’t want to be duplicating the title separately on that page with another H1 tag which is not necessary.  We have also set up a H2 tag on that page but the size of the heading is a little bit too big. How can we keep it as H2 but reduce the size of it a little bit?

      Many thanks in advance for your reply.

      Hi Harry,

      Thank you for your quick reply.

      On no. 1 – how/where do we change the colour of the page titles? (so to change not the background to the title but the colour of the actual writing)

      2. Thank you, this worked but it doesn’t look like the organic way that woocommerce displays  category text (it runs right to the edge of the page and doesn’t look natural). It should appear as part of Woocommerce, it should not need any extra code to make it appear (this is how it was on our old theme). Could you please let us know how to make it appear within Woocommerce without this code override?

      3. Thank you for the code to move the category description to the bottom of the page. We’ve placed it into functions.php but unfortunately it didn’t work. The text on Wedding Glam category is still at the top.

      4. Thank you for your but this is not what I was asking. We want to be able to have the website logo be designated as the H1 tag. This is now quite common for many websites. How can we do this?

      And regarding the H2 tag/title – we just want to manually adjust the size of the font on the front page. If we reduce it in Page Builder, it drops it down from H2 to H3 which is bad from an SEO point of view. So just how can we manually reduce the size of that heading in Page Builder with CSS?

      Many thanks again.

      	width: 100%;
      	max-width: 1170px;

      Please change code to

      Hi Harry,

      Thank you for your reply but some of your replies are a little bit confusing.

      Could you please explain about the category description and the H1 tag on the home page?

      Regarding the category descriptions, we didn’t remove page title on any of the site pages except the home page because on that page, it was adding an extra website name above the slider. The shop page has the page title enabled. So why was the woocommerce category text not appearing without the snippet? By the way, those are woocommerce texts appearing in subcategories, not on actual separate ‘pages’. They should be appearing on their own without the snippet. This might be something which needs fixing in the theme.

      On the H1, we’ve tried out the snippet for the H1 tag on the home page that you sent. It has added it but it is now empty. What we basically need is to get the H1 tag on the home page to say the name of the store – 1950s Glam. How do we do this?

      Many thanks in advance.

    • #30321

      Hi,

      1. For H1 tag on homepage we wrap to logo. You want to add H1 wrap the name of store but where you want to show or you want to hide this text? If you want to show the text you should add in your page content

      2. The product category description included with code generate page title. Now you turn of page title in Theme Option > WooCommerce > General Settings while you setting up Dress as shop page.

      Kind regards

      Hi Harry,

      Thanks for the navigation for product category descriptions – this is exactly what we were referring to. So now, how can we make the Category description (only the description, not the title) appear at the bottom of the page? We just switched it on to test it out and at the moment, because of that other snippet we added earlier, we have the description text at the top and the bottom. If we can move the in built Woocommerce description to the bottom then we can remove the code snippet for the other one which was added a couple of days ago.

      Many thanks

      Thanks Harry. From memory, there was also a place in the Woocommerce settings which allowed you to set up the ‘New’ badge for all products rather than one by one in the products.  Is that still there – we could’t find it?

      i’m sorry it doesn’t have option to apply for all products 🙁 you have to put for one by one.

      Btw, your support expired. Please renew your support at https://themeforest.net/item/claue-clean-minimal-woocommerce-theme/18929281, that will help us continue to develop and improve our theme.

      Hi Harry,

      Thank you for the fix. We’ll test this to see if it fixes the issue. 🙂

      Regarding our support, please note we still have 6 months of support left. We purchased the theme twice – 6 months apart – and we purchased additional support (so 1 year total) both times. So we actually overlapped and paid an extra 6 months’ support without needing to. Our support is paid up to December 2019, see here:

      Hope this helps.

      Many thanks again.

      Hi Netmined,

      1. By default the child theme doesn’t have file woocommerce/cart/cart-shipping.php. You can delete this file if you don’t do any function to override shipping method on cart page.

      It have easy way is change name of file and check different of shipping on shopping cart page. If the change don’t affect to your site you should delete it.

      2. The theme version on your site outdated, please update theme http://support.janstudio.net/forums/topic/updating-the-theme/ and plugin in menu Appearance > Install plugins. to make shortcode work with new version of WooCommerce

      Hi Harry,

      Thank you very much for your quick reply, much appreciate it.

      We’ve updated the theme and that has fixed the shortcode issue so thank you for that.

      Regarding the child theme, I am not sure that I understand you.

      Did you mean that we should try renaming the file in the child theme first, then check to see if there has been any impact on the shipping method in the cart and if there hasn’t been any impact, then delete the file in the child theme?

      Hi Harry,

      After doing an update to the theme and plugins we’ve noticed that the custom css code snippet you gave us to make the WOOCS multi currency plugin appear the same as the Claue theme currency switcher on the website is no longer working. The dropdown box for the currency switcher has now reverted to the WOOCS look, so the css code has stopped working.

      Do you what has caused the issue and how to fix it?

      Many thanks in advance for your help.

    • #33402

      Hi Harry,

      Thank you for your reply. Yes, the switcher is working ok – the issue wasn’t that but with the way it looks visually on the site. The switcher has gone back to looking like a big box rather than looking the same way that as the Claue theme switcher.

      You gave us the following code to make look the same:

      .woocommerce-currency-switcher-form .chosen-container-single .chosen-drop {
      border-radius: 0;
      background: #f6f6f8;
      box-shadow: none;
      border: none;
      }
      .woocommerce-currency-switcher-form .chosen-container-single .chosen-single,
      .woocommerce-currency-switcher-form .chosen-container-active.chosen-with-drop .chosen-single {
      background: none;
      border: none;
      box-shadow: none;
      }
      .woocommerce-currency-switcher-form .chosen-container .chosen-results li {
      padding: 5px 22px;
      }
      .woocommerce-currency-switcher-form .chosen-container-single .chosen-single div b {
      background-image: none !important;
      background-size: inherit !important;
      background-repeat: inherit !important;
      position: relative;
      }
      .woocommerce-currency-switcher-form .chosen-container-single .chosen-single div b::before {
      font-family: FontAwesome;
      content: “\f107”;
      position: absolute;
      top: 0;
      right: 10px;
      color: #666;
      }

      It was working fine until the update just now and not sure what has broken it. Would you know how to fix it?

      Also, another issue which we have noticed that has just appeared – for some reason, the box around an item which is added to cart now appears in purple colour instead of just plain white as it should. See here http://prnt.sc/p0ko8n   It only seems to do this to the first item added, not to the others. How can we make it go back to white?

      Many thanks again for your help.

    • #33403

      Hi Netmind,

      1. The issue because plugin author they change class name for switcher dropdown select. Please remove old code and add new

      Hi Harry,

      Thank you for your reply and the snippets.

      The currency switcher css snippet hasn’t quite worked. The whole top bar still looks different and much wider than before and there is a box around the switcher unlike the Claue switcher. Also the currency symbols look different and weird now (we have switched them off for the moment). Here is how it is now  http://prnt.sc/p1joxk . Can we adjust this in some way to make it like the Claue one? See here http://prnt.sc/p1jpgh

      Regarding no 2 – the colours in the cart. We’ve checked all the possible places in the Claue custom css box and the child theme css and we have not entered that snippet that you wrote so we do not have anywhere to change it. Is it possible that this option to colour the cart was selected accidentally somewhere in the Claue theme options?

    • #33426

      Hi,

      1. Please add more code in Claue > Theme Option > General Layout > Custom CSS

      .woocommerce-currency-switcher-form {

      2. The CSS code generate by plugin WP Responsive Table you add for table in product detail https://prnt.sc/p1n6rj. You can use suggest code to override CSS generate by plugin.

      Hi Harry,

      Thank you for your reply.

      We have added the snippet you suggested for the currency switcher but the top bar is still too wide. It runs down the page a lot more than before. How can we make this bar less wide?

      Regarding the cart colours – so this is caused by the table plugin? It is affecting the cart? Adding that snippet you suggest will make it correct just the cart without also removing the colour from the tables?

      Many thanks in advance.
