I see that it’s this way in the demo of the theme, too. Clicking the links in the overlay on the portfolio images on the main portfolio page loads the new page, but it’s not filtered by that category. See the page below in the demo. It’s the same way in the site I’m developing. Please advise.
http://janstudio.net/gecko/furniture/portfolio/ – click one of the categories in the overlays of the images
Example: http://janstudio.net/gecko/furniture/portfolio_cat/outdoor/ (these are not assigned to the “outdoor” category)

Is there something additional that needs to be configured to make this update work? I have deleted and replaced the theme files (/gecko) and the version shows 1.3.4, but this bug isn’t fixed on my site, as I see that it is on your demo. I have cleared the cache. Thanks for your help.

Hi Harry, that made a difference, and I saw that the update to that plugin became “required” in the 1.3.5 version of the theme, which was helpful. The problem now is that those links return the 404 page error. Do pages needed to be manually created now for every category, and if so, what content should they contain. I used the content import to start up the site, but I can’t do that again without overwriting all of my work now. Thanks again for your help.

Hi jamiejaques,
We check update 2 plugins JAS Addons and Visual Composer now working normal.
For issue with page category of portfolio can you explain more? Now have link direct to category page don’t need create page.
You don’t need import sample content again. Now you can use sample content to built your own.
If you still have issue. please send us your website url, temporary admin account as private reply. We will take a look and help you solve your issue.
Best regards!
Harry
