I immediately got a warning notification after activating the theme.
Warning: posix_getpwuid() has been disabled for security reasons in …..includes/class-wp-filesystem-direct.php on line 199
How do I resolve this?
This warning was because of your hoster has been disabled posix_getpwuid function. Please contact your hosting supporter to fix this or follow this topic https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/37978
Premium Wordpress themes and plugins, Best WooCommerce theme https://themeforest.net/user/janstudio/portfolio?ref=janstudio
This is what my hosting provider has said:
“This function is disabled for the reason stated in the warning message: “for security reasons”.
This means the the function is considered insecure in a shared hosting environment. That said, we recommend finding a theme that doesn’t use this function.”
Is there any way to fix this?
