Product "External link" and "Variable"

I’m using the Claue theme with the WooZone Amazon plugin.  When I import the items from Amazon with WZone I select the option to import all variables.  The product type that is created is an “external/affiliate link” product which does not have the option to have variables.  The variable attributes are just imported as a list under the additional info tab.  I tried to go back in after the product import and change the product to a “variable” product but then the url for the affiliate link disappears.  Isn’t there a way I can create a product that is an external link affiliate product that also has variations available?  Can a variation tab be added to the external product type?

Hi,

By default woocommerce doesn’t support add variation for external product.

Please try this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/wc-external-variations/
