Hi,
I have a running woocommerce website, i want to install the demo data but without deleting the orders and woocommerce products. i don’t care about anything else but these are the most important to me.
I tried to install the demo data on a duplicated version from the website but it deleted everything except the users database.
Please advise how can i do that ?
Thanks

Hi there,
Thank you for choosing our theme.
You can use attach file and extract and import via Tools > Import > WordPress. It only import pages content and don’t affect to your exist database.
You can follow this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=attYCVMtqI8

Hi,
I saw your site run mySQL version 5.5.51 while WordPress required MySQL version 5.6 http://prntscr.com/hamu18
Please ask hosting supporter to help you upgrade and try import again. And please backup your site before upgrade, you also need to update all plugin on your site to latest version.
Best regards

I checked some post on internet https://forums.hostgator.com/upgrading-mysql-version-5-6-5-t346126.html they said if you want upgrade MySQL version you have to upgrade your hosting package, that is not fair with customers.
In this case you have only 2 solution is upgrade hosting package or switch to another hosting (siteground or wpengine)
