      Hello Harry,

      First of all I need to say that I have installed these two plugins :

      1. SKU Shortlink For WooCommerce ( to have my sku in the url of the product -> look.ir/sku/postname )
      2. WooCommerce Permalink Manager ( to remove : ” product-category , product , parent slug ” from url in their own pages )

      now Imagine that my store is going to have this categories : Men > Men Accessories > Watches

      I like to have a “Page” look.ir/men because having a page let me have promotion banners , image with text and …

      but as I removed the phrase ” product-category ” from url to have more pretty url , I cannot make a category with the slug = men becuse it will become look.ir/men ( no more look.ir/product-category/men ) like the page that I like to create!

      What should I do to have “Men” as page and category? Shall I make a category with name : Men , Slug : men-cat ?

      Did you get what I say?

      I asked you this question because I saw a store with the page domain.com/Men and having promotion banners and …

      but when I go to the page of sub categories like domain.com/men/accessories/watches I see the domain.com/men in the sidebar categories.

      I don’t get this ! because domain.com/Men is a page but how it’s in the sidebar? It has exactly the same url as the page and this url is not a category to come in the sidebar!

      The store is this : https://DigiStyle.com

      The first link of the menu on the right is the page that I mean.

      How ever it’s in the rtl language but you can find what I mean.

      Hi Rahim,

      You can create new custom page “Men” and use page builder to add promotion banner and add banner to link to sub-categories and on subcategory you select sidebar with product categories widget menu

      You should make slug for page “men” and category slug “men-cat”

      So I create a page with this url : look.ir/men and a parent category : look.ir/men-cat

      and in the header menu I use the page url to redirect the users to the page , and the look.ir/men-cat comes in the sub-category pages in the sidebar widget. Right?

      &

      When I add a product to a category like watch in this case, shall I check the categories : watch , accessories , men? ( I mean the category and parent categories )

      Or I should only check watch?

      1. Yes, it right

      2. When create new product please check in both parent category and child category. It better for search result.
