Adding another type of WordPress to my site

Hi,

I was wondering if you could please give me some advice. I found a programmer who is willing to translate parts of my site into Mandarin and also install Alipay when we’re ready to get it. He wants to add WordPress in Chinese to my site. Is this going to cause future issues or will it be fine? I found him on Fiverrr.com, he has very good feedback so it seems like he’s trustworthy. I’m not sure if this will be okay so that’s why I’m asking. Thanks.

Does your site run on multilingual?

I recommend use plugin WPML to build multilingual site.

He can switch your dashboard to Chinese when you can switch back to English without any problem.

He prefers to use an Ajax translator plug in…I think because he’s accustom to using it. Would there be any possible issues or complications if he installs WordPress in Chinese on my site?

I also plan to have other languages on my site so I need to ask if this will cause problems down the road. Thanks.

If he only install Chinese language it doesn’t have problem.
