Harry, I use this plugin: Simple Author Box

This plugin has a function which enables admin to add the box wherever he wants: https://prnt.sc/rjl1c1

I know I should add this in the begening of the author.php of the theme if it’s available.

With this function we can have the box on top of author’s pages like end of the article.

We are misunderstanding each other.

This plugin adds a box after the post. like this: https://prnt.sc/rjqn2v

But according to the plugin settings, it says if you would like to have this box wherever you want, use this help: https://prnt.sc/rjl1c1

As you know, in the author’s pages we don’t have this box. like this page: https://look.ir/author/look/

I like to add that function in the author’s pages, to have that box, above the author’s posts, to have a short bio of the author.

I just need to add this simple PHP code or shortcode, but don’t know how and where.

Can you please send me a photo of how it appears on the author’s archive pages? Does it appear after every single post or at the top of the page?

I don’t have it, maybe because of the conflict with another plugin.

Please go to Theme Option > Blog and show blog as content https://prnt.sc/rjs2x1

But it will show author box under each post not only one box for all posts.

Well it’s not a good idea to have the author box below every single post on the URL: domain.com/auhtor/harry

All post in the URL are published by harry. no need to say that under every post.

I think with that function in the plugin setting and a custom author.php file, we can have a pretty design.

Have the author box above the post.

I think it’s not a bad idea to develop a dedicated author page for Claue.

It’s really a nice idea to have a short biography of the author, like the author box of this plugin, above his/her posts on domain.com/author/admin

Please download attach file and put in claue-child. Our theme main function for WooCommerce not blog so we don’t implement author box. Hope you understand for us

Harry with the code you gave me, the author box on the author’s pages, comes after the all posts at the end of the page: https://prnt.sc/rk448n

I moved the line 49 to 31, and now it’s really what I want: https://look.ir/author/ceo/

But the problem is, for having this box at the top of the page, I should not hide this setting: https://prnt.sc/rk462o

otherwise, I will not have the box at the top.

But with this setting, I will have the author’s box after every post!

Is there any chance to hide them with CSS? or give a dedicated class to your code?
