I’ve recently installed two different Canada Post plug in’s in my site. I was told that in the settings of both plugin’s that the country must be set to Canada and the currency in Canadian dollars…the rest of my site is in USD. We prefer to collect the funds in USD. I contacted a rep from Canada Post and this is what they told me.
“The rate that we return is in Canadian dollar, however, there is no currency designation on the amount, just a number. Does your extension allow you to increase or discount the returned shipping rate? If it does, you can discount the returned rate by the exchange rate percentage”.
Is it possible to have this set up on my site and there be no issues when it comes to totaling up the orders since there will be two different currencies there? Thanks.
