Categories in Menu won't update.

When I updated my product categories and removed the old ones the sub-menu in Appearances > Menus wont update and still shows the old categories and wont allow me to add my categories to the primary menu. How do I fix this?

Which header layout you’re using.( If you using header layout 2) you need add change left menu, right menu.
