Dear support,
I have a problem after updating my WordPress installation where the category pages remain empty. What I have done so far:
- Turn on PHP error messages (no errors)
- Update all plugins
- Update Theme (of course)
- Change settings in theme options -> WooCommerce
Further investigation leads to the following conclusions:
- Using another template fixes the problem
- Renaming ‘/wp-content/themes/claue/core/libraries/vendors/woocommerce/templates/archive-product.php’ also fixes the problem
- Both ways mentioned before result in a default WooCommerce template being used, which is not what I want. I like the layout of the Claue theme for categories
Please let me know any further information you need to help me fix this problem.

Hi Unique Made,
I open link of your site but it can’t load https://prnt.sc/vlxln0 Could you please check and let me know when your site ready.
Please go to Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Product Catalog and change setting of Shop page display and category page display https://prnt.sc/vlxmko
Did you add something to shop page? Please go to Pages > Shop page and remove all content leave the shop page blank.

Harry,
thanks for the reply. These settings did not resolve the issue, but somehow I am not getting empty pages anymore but a HTML error 503 (service unavailable).
I made a mistake with the domain credentials, can I send new ones?

Harry,
I am sorry, but it is not fixed like this. With the filters turned off, I still get an error message when going to a category page. For example: https://10happy.nl/product-category/herenhorloges/merk/emporio-armani/

Harry,
my apologies. I see now that some categories are working, while some aren’t. It seems we have an issue with memory leaks. Thanks for your support!

Harry,
for your interest. It was the ‘Claue sample data’ plugin that caused a big memory usage and resulted in the server error. No problem of course, since the plugin is only used for first setup. We have now deactivated this plugin and everything works fine now.
Again, thanks for your support!

Hi IJsbrand,
I recommend use global setting for category sidebar in Claue > Theme Option > WooCommerce > Product Listing Setting
Just use setting for single category when you want.
Kind regards
Harry
