Child theme or main theme?

I’ve installed both, theme, which one should I have active, the main theme or the child theme?

I saw you add custom css code in child theme.

We recommend use child theme to override layout of main theme. In future you can update theme without lose your custom code.

Quick question 🙂

Do we need to use a plugin like this “http://www.childthemeconfigurator.com/”  to maintain the child theme? We are about to begin customization and we already activated the child theme that came with our purchase.  Our objective is to not lose our customization work with updates. (We plan to edit mostly css but maybe some php files)

You can use our child theme, All your customization will preserve when you update the parent theme.
