Currency change it self Please Help

Hello there, Sorry for disturb..
I have a massive problem. Please help me as soon as you can. I added 3 currencies using Claue currencies, It works perfect throughout the website everything changes when it comes to payment gateway..

Capture : This is how it appear just before I place the order (741 EURO which is equal to 3200 AED)
Capture 1: This is how it appear after I place the order (now its 3200 EURO)

Also I am planning to buy Claue Shopify theme as well. Will it be a nightmare to move my wordpress site to shopify..?

We check have some issue with plugin Paytab could you please deactivate plugin Paytab and use another plugin and check again.

Hello Harry,
Really sorry to disturb you again.. Recently i noticed a major issue with the payment.. It worked great early before the update(i think it worked great cause I remember seeing both selected currency and local currency in payment window). Before the update as I remember the currency changed from USD or any other currency before it goes through the payment process but now it doesn’t and the payment gateway reject the payment as it only accept local currency. I attached the message I got from payment gateway. Can you please check the message sent by payment gateway and see whether im doing something wrong or its not possible to change the currency to local currency.

NOTE: If I manage to fix this, this will most likely to be my last fix request till I renew the support 😀

Please download attach file and delete plugin claue-addons and reinstall prev version to temporary fix.

Hello Harry, My only main issue is the Payment Reject issue due to currency..
if there is any way to convert the currency to AED before it goes to the payment gateway.. that issue will be solved for ever..

the second issue is simple.. I am sure you can look and figure out which lines of cord need to be removed to fix it.. attached a photo

Hi DinaFashion,

1. You mean convert the currency to USD before it go to Payment gateway? I think this job is payment gateway do, the plugin in our theme show what currency the user use to purchase, if it convert to another currency the user will confuse.

2. I check on my local it still work well don’t have issue duplicate currency symbol http://take.ms/Tj7x7

Hello Harry, What I have is the same but isn’t it supposed to be either $50.00 or SGD 50.00 but not $SGD 50.00 cause I see both Dollar sign and Singapore dollar letters with the amount. I think it should be only one of these with the amount.

In the attached photo version 1.1.2 shows the proper sign with the amount
Example: $822
but this is not $822 this is $223.81 which is equal to 822AED

In the attached photo version 1.1.3 shows that the issue is fixed
Example: $USD 223.81
but it has an extra USD letter with an SPACE ($USD 223.81) which i think is not right.

I think it should be $223.81 so if there is a way to remove the “USD” and the “SPACE” the issue will be solved.

[ISSUE 2] My payment gateway says they don’t accept USD so they are asking me to pass the final value in AED so they will grab the value in AED and will show in AED in payment gateway page(earlier screen capture). I think what they are saying is get_total() should be in AED but im not sure.. but now I removed all the currencies till i find a solution..

Hi,

1. We add new currency text next to symbol for shop manager understand different between currency use same symbol (example $SGD 50.00 with $USD 50.00) while their site use multi currency. If it only show $50.00 the shop manager don’t know which is SGD which is USD

2. If your payment gateway doesn’t accept other currencies you can turn off multi currency and use only your local currency.

Hello Harry,
I thought it was a bug but now I got it.. I attached my plan below.. Is it possible for me to know where I can find the codes for your converter so I can take the same code and change it so the currency will go back to its default before payment gateway grabs it..?

Example: claue -> core -> libraries -> janstudio -> hooks -> action.php

so I can figure out a way and fix the issue. also let me know if what I am trying to archive is not possible cause I have no idea what I am doing but I have to try something cause all our payment gateways accept only one selected currency.

Hello Harry,

Thank You.. I got it fixed yesterday by disabling the currency folder and adding a frond end currency converter which i am testing right now… Really sorry for all the trouble.. One last question, will disabling the currency folder ruin the whole website or it just disable the Claue default currency converter which i won’t be using..

Hi dinaFashion,

Please disable currency switcher in Claue > Theme Option > Header > Currency Switcher too.

When you disabling the currency folder the currency converter won’t be using not affect to the whole site.
