Customize Footer and sidebar

Hello,

I’m having difficulties to customize the title of my footer’s categories (see footer picture). I would like to replace “information” by “informations”, “quick links” by “accéder” but don’t know where to do it. Also, I would like to add what is on Claue theme’s footer (see atttached) with logo, address, telephone, etc. on the left.

I also don’t know where to customize the sidebar I have on lots of different pages such as my blog, or my about page. I changed the link of my instagram but it’s not the right link. I also changed the catégories but the previous categories (beauty, fashion, etc.) still appear here. It is also fake articles. How can I update it ?

Hi,

1. You can change the footer in Appearance > Widgets > Footer #1-#5

2. You can change the sidebar in Appearance > Widgets > Primary Sidebar

Hello,

Now I succeeded in changing the footer areas 3 and 4 but for area 1, I don’t know how to customize it because the field is empty (see attached). Also, for the newsletter area, I was able to change just one part of the text (see attached). Where do I can change the rest and more importantly the email adress where the subsciption will be sent ?

I’m working on the sidebar too !

Moreover, I can’t customize everything I want on the side bar. For the categories, I don’t have my own product categories but Claue Categories (See attached).

Hi Laurie,

Sorry because miss your message.

1. Could you send us your admin account again, i tried old account but can’t access.

2. You can change in Dashboard > Mailchimp for WordPress > Form

3. The categories on the sidebar is blog post categories not product categories, you can manage blog categories in Dashboard > Post > Categories

I was able to translate “your email adress” in Mailchimp for WordPress > Form but i would like to translate subscribe as well. I think I have to see the code but don’t know where to access it.

Do you know where i can change “subscribe” ?

I have looooots of texts in English and I really don’t know how to translate them into french.

1. you can change the text of subscribe form in Dashboard > Mailchimp for WordPress > Form

2. You can translate these texts by follow our topic http://support.janstudio.net/forums/topic/theme-translation/

2.1 Loco Translate > Themes > Claue
2.2 Translate > Plugins > WooCommerce

Yes i’ve seen this topic but there is an issue on my wordpress because in my settings my language is French, I have chosen french in Loco translate for both the theme and Woocommerce, and when I take a look at what is not translated on my website the translation into french is already done in Loco translate but it still appears in English … Do you know why ?

Hi Laurie,

I checked your site. These texts already translate in plugin WooCommerce but some files our theme override code of WooCommerce so the strings get source from our theme to display and still in English.

You can translate in Loco Translate > Theme > Claue.

Sorry but I translated everything and there are still few stuffs that I can’t find either on Loco translate > Claue or Loco translate > WooCommerce (See screenshot for instance, subtotal is ok on one page and different on another one).

Is there a third plugin I need to translate ?
