Default category and Upper menu issues

Hi,

 

First please check the attached screenshot you will find “2” issues, first i want to remove this submenu as it’s just repeated buttons.

Secondly there is category called “Swim” which set as default and can’t be edited nor removed or even change its name, How can i edit it please?

Sorry because inconvenience.

1. Please go to Appearance > Widgets > WooCommerce Categories Menu Sidebar and remove exist widget

2. This category is changed from “Uncategorized” default category of WooCommerce and it can’t delete you only can change name of it https://wordpress.org/support/topic/woocommerce-category-issue-uncategorized/

Hi,

1. You can create new menu with custom product categories

2. Go to Appearance > Widgets > WooCommerce Sidebar Categories > remove current widget and add custom navigation and assign new menu you’ve just create

Hi,

I have tried to install payment gateway plugin called “Klarna Checkout”, please check it’s demo here: https://demo.krokedil.se/klarnacheckout/checkout/

And this payment gateway appears as an iframe in the checkout page, but for some reason it doesn’t show in our checkout using your theme, and when we contacted the developing company they told us it’s due to the theme, so we tried the standard woocommerce theme and it shows properly, Please check and advice

Please go to themes/claue/core/libraries/vendors/woocommerce/templates/checkout

and change name of folder “Checkout” to “checkout1” or delete this folder.

you have to do again when update theme.

Thanks i just installed the plugin and it appears normally now in your theme, However after placing a test order using the test credentials it shows me the confirm order page with “0” items in the shopping cart as usual then it keeps loading for sometime then RE-change the number of items in shopping cart to “1” again and Re-show the same item as if it’s still in the shopping cart, Is it because im in test mode or something wrong?

i sent to plugin supporter and they did tested today and confirmed that plugin has no issue in regard to the items that stays in shopping cart and asked me to contact you, as the plugin works normally on standard woocommerce theme as in this demo: https://demo.krokedil.se/klarnacheckout/checkout/

there is something in your theme RE-add the items in shopping cart after order is “paid”

this is not logic, the developer is not offering demo account with access to the admin, and I’m not responsible for that, all I can give you is the fact that there is a plugin that works on the standard woocommerce theme and not working properly on your theme, Please install the plugin „Klarna Checkout“ on your demo yourself and try to fix the issue and tell me how to fix it.

Hi,

No, you missunderstood again, let me tell you how to reproduce the issue so you can understand, Please follow this steps:

1- Add an item to you shopping cart at our website (kingcot.de)

2- Go to checkout page (https://kingcot.de/checkout/) and select any payment method except paypal (select the first or the 2nd) and don’t worry you its on test mode so you don’t need to pay anything

3- Accept and confim the payment

4- You will then be redirected to order details page that confirms that you have paid successfully

The issue appears here, you will find that the shopping cart Re-filled with the SAME item AGAIN while it should have been paid already

Kindly check and advice and ask me if anything is not clear

Hi,

Could you try contact with plugin author the issue have on Chrome. I check with default theme after make Place Order and back to shop and create new Order it still show old Order has been placed. When i click to refresh it load new order http://take.ms/6p7wy

On Firefox it still work well.

I have couple of questions please:

1- How to translate the words/buttons: “Apply Coupon” and “Proceed to checkout” in “Cart” page, knowing that they are available in loco translate plugin but they are not reflected on words in “Cart” page but translated in other places, Please advice how to translate them to our language “German”

 

2- May i know how to decrease the dimension of the table of “My Account” page to make it as in demo instead of stretching it to width of the page

and you will find that all text we required in our question is translated but not reflected on website for some reason, and cache cleared and browser changed as well

Please login using our admin data and check yourself

 

2- In internet explorer i find strange space near the header, may i know what it’s reason and how to be removed

1. I helped you translate the text “Apply Coupon” but the text “Proceed to checkout” it’s in another plugin. Please check in other plugin which have this and translate.

2. Please add below code to Claue > Theme Option > General Layout > Custom CSS

Thanks for your support so far i should admit that it’s fast and professional, Now after long trial i have translated the “Kasse” / Checkout” words, but still the big issue is the word: “Proceed to checkout” button in the cart page, i have no solution for it at all to translate it, it should be: “Zur Kasse Gehen” and it’s translated in the loco plugins section but doesn’t show up on website, Hope you can find a solution for it.

Secondly i have another issue:

Some product variations like size cannot be added or shown properly, as example for “Towels” their sizes can be 30×30 or 40×60 so when we add this numbers it shown bad in the product page, check image below and check this URL: https://kingcot.de/product/handtucher-high-line-nut-brown/

 

Kindly advice how to make them wider or in box shape so the “Size” looks properly set.

and kindly notice some other items are normal and doesn’t need this wider space

I have downloaded the file and edited the text on my computer now i want to upload using file manage to the destination directory (claue-child > woocommerce > cart) but i can’t find anything like this???

Did you have backup on your hosting? When you create new language you should choose “System” do not choose “Author” https://monosnap.com/file/mkQ2JiQhhIwjC1rQ1moQEKD1yCW531# that will delete language file when have update version of theme.

3. Please go to Appearance > Widget > WooCommerce Sidebar to change and go to Loco > Plugins > WooCommerce to change the text “Sort by newness”

I hardly could fixed the mistake and restored a backup now we still have the issue of 1 and 2 and the previous one too:

“Proceed to checkout” in cart page, and Log In button and Apply coupon in checkout page, and you haven’t explained how to edit it by files and copy those files, Please try to find a solution and write me answer in details as im not technical profissional and please don’t update to not affect theme or delete translation as we spent long time in translating those files

I tried to search these string on your site but can’t find. These text generate by core of WooCommerce code and can’t override on child theme.

Could you please try update all plugins on your site and try search strings and translate again in Loco > Plugins > WooCommerce.

Kindly notice that 2 words have appeared suddenly (they weren’t there before, maybe because you have updated the theme, they are: “Plus” and “Shipping costs”, and they are not shown as strings too in the loco

1. The issue with text sort by fixed when i delete the language and go to https://kingcot.de/wp-admin/update-core.php and click update translation

2. These text appear when i activate plugin WooCommerce Germanized, I deactivate this plugin and these text disappear.

May i know how to change the font color in those banners (in middle of home page) from white to black

 

Also for product pages we have some sizes in 3 digits which may require larger space, Like bed sheet size of: 120×200

So it won’t fit in the circle in the following image, So is their an option to make it maybe rectangular or easier to increase the circle space?, what do you think?
