error when accessing blog categories from sidebar on the blog page

when we’re on the blog page

and from the  side bar we choose a category from dropdown menu , we get this:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘, expecting end of file in /home3/kaecicon/public_html/wp-content/themes/gecko/archive.php on line 11

I highly recommend you add the custom code to the child theme. Please don’t edit anything in our core theme.

I don’t know hot to work with child theme:(  Anyway you can delete that or I can. It didn’t work.

I have a major problem with qtranslate X plugin with French. It displays for example

LIRES PLUS when it should be LIRE PLUS.

I have no  idea how to add custom translation of fields like that. That’s why I needed the ID of “add to wishlist” (also badly translated by qtranslate x). I know this is not Gecko it’s qtranslate X…but if you have any hints on how to do it with the MO file (?) or Json file on WP I’d be very grateful!
