How To Hide Author Name For Blog Posts?

Hey,

I want to hide the authors name for our blog posts. Therefore I downloaded the plugin “Show/Hide Author”

Well, that removed the name, but the “By” still stays there.

 

They also give you a hint how to remove the “By”

 

Unfortunately, I have no idea what to do, so I tried pasting the code above in the field as you can see but this didn’t work.

Do you have a code for me that only the Date stays in the middle underneath the title?

So I wouldn’t need this plugin. If not, maybe the code I need to fill into this field to remove this “By” ?

Hi Chris,

Please delete the plugin and add below code to Claue > Theme Option > General Layout > Custom CSS

.post-meta .author, .post-info .post-author {display: none;}
