      Importing Demo Content

      After activating the theme, there’ll be suggested plugin listed at the top (if there aren’t, you can go to ‘Appearance > Install Plugins’ section as well ).
      Try installing and activating these following plugins ( as it effects the importing process ). You can also install all suggested plugins at this step as well.

      import-sample-data

      Then, go to ‘JanStudio > Install  Sample Data > Choose Layout > Import Demo Data’

      Follow the steps mentioned on the screen, then, you’ll get the site like the demo 🙂

      I’m having difficulty importing the sample data. The ‘Gecko Sample Data’ tab does not show in my ‘Appearance’ menu. I have tried adding the ini_set(‘memory_limit’,’128M’); to line 2 in function.php but this doesn’t change anything. Please can someone advise? I am using a local server.

      Hi Ashleigh,

      Sorry for inconvenience you have.

      We update our theme so you can find Gecko Sample Data menu in JanStudio > Install Sample Data.

        I helped you import Furniture demo. If you want change demo you can go JanStudio > Install Sample Data > Choose Layout

      I have imported and installed sample data for the Fashion theme. There seems to be a bug where on the page load, the masthead banner appears for 1 second and then disappears and becomes only a placeholder. Any idea of where I can and how I can fix this.

      @alanp910: I helped you remove place holder image overlay. You can change master head image by follow screen shot

      1. Edit row

      2. Open Design Option tab

      3. Upload background

      I installed the theme successfully but there were no images/photos.

      Also, there were 2 theme files: claue.zip, claue-child.zip. No mention in the documentation how to install them.

      1. After import demo content the images will be replace by place holder image or link from our server because the license and copyright of images we don’t have permission to distribute.

      2. There are 2 files:

      claue.zip – this is core theme all function like on our demo will run with core theme

      claue-child.zip this is extend from core theme, this help you override function, style, layout of core theme and in future you can  update core theme without losing your customize code

      Is there a way to get the layout without having to pull in all the sample data? I have 100 variable products in my existing shop and it overwrites EVERYTHING. I pulled it back through my backup.
      I chose this theme for the look and the premade design. Can I use without losing my current images, posts and products??

      I purchased Claue Theme today. After uploading theme on WordPress I could not find any option such as Janstudios to import demo site.

        You can find Import Sample Data menu after install all recommend plugins by navigate to Claue > Import Sample Data.
