Issue with menu and wpbakery row and pin maker

Hi Harry 🙂

We came up with some minor design issues and could you please help us fix them:

1. Since your theme does not support mega menu, we installed max-mega menu as you recommended in other comments.

The issues we need to be fixed:

a. The max mega menu does not display the badge “hot”, “new” etc (We defined class in the menu but it won’t show). Could you please give us the custom css/code which will allow us to display the badges where we want.

b. The logo, menu and the right hand bar having search, shipping cart etc does not align. We want them to be all in a straight line (see screenshot 1). The red line in the screenshot is the level where we want the logo and the right hand bar to be. All in a straight line and exactly middle of the menu bar.

c.In the sticky menu, we want the menu items to be in the middle of the menu bar and aligned with the logo and right hand bar. (See screen shot 2). The red line is the height at which the menu items should be (Straight and middle of white menu bar)

Since, we plan to replace the logo, I think its best to align the right hand bar and menu items perfectly and then we can resize logo later on  make an exact straight line. However, you know best.

 

 

2. We are making our homepage using wpbakery. We created a row with 3 elements but the 3rd element (hover box/flipbox) is not aligning with the 1st two. (See screenshot 3). Can you explain why and fix it please.  We attached screenshot 4 for the backend view.

3. We followed your demo home page 5 and tried to create a “tab element” similar to “Our products” section in demo 5. We named our section “our trending products”

The only difference in setting is that we enabled slider. 

When the homepage loads, the section is blank. (Screenshot 5).

ONLY after we click on the tab (recent product in our case), does the section appear (See screenshot 6).

Can you please help us fix this issue.

4. The pin maker’s open tab is not showing properly (See screenshot 7). This happened after update wordpress. We wanted to make like your demo 7 (see screenshot 8). The open pin’s tab z index  is clearly more than element. Can you please help us fix it. We want the open pin to show all details by overlapping underlying element.

 

We think that to fix, all this, you might need a temporary site access. Please confirm and we will give you site access in a few minutes. We are online for the next 8 hours.

Thank your for writing back. We confirm that the following issues have been resolved:

1. Vendor page looks good. Hence, point 5 is fixed. Thanks a lot 🙂
2. The sticky menu is 99% fixed. We just have 1 question. Do you have a recommended logo dimension such that the logo aligns perfectly in a straight line in the stick menu?
3. Point 4 is solved (Pin maker issue)

Regarding points:

1. a  If we remove icons, do you think the sales badges such as hot, new etc can be implemented? We actually prefer your badges than icons. If you tell us the custom code, we can implement wherever we want for the future.

1. b We want the menu bar to be exactly in the middle of the menu white strip. We are happy with how the stick menu looks. Everything is centered rightly. Can you please make the main menu exactly in the middle? Please see the attachment. The black line which is approximately the middle is where we want the menu to be such that it looks beautiful. If you have a logo dimension recommendation for all 3 items to be in a straight line, we would love to hear.

2. Point 2 was unfortunately not fixed. The 3rd box is aligned BUT cut in half. Please see screenshot 2 attached. We want the 3 to be of the same height and width just like the other boxes we used.

3. For point 3, the slider is missing. Eg: you have many featured demo products. However, in that section, none of them are coming. Hence, yes, now the section is appearing without the need to click, BUT we wanted the slider so customers can scroll through the products as much as they want.

Dear Foster,

During further testing, we noticed two more important things:

1. regarding point 5 (Vendor page), if vendor writes description about himself, it is not appearing. The text is hidden behind white banner which you created . Please see Screen shot 3. Our vendors will highly love to see this info displayed in the banner area and its important for seo and their shop. Can you please make it visible?
2. The banner image is repeating (There are 2 hearts (left and right) while uploaded image has only 1 heart on the left). We love how it looks. However, other vendors might not love this. Hence, can you please explain recommended vendor shop image dimension for other vendors and how to stop the repeating if needed?

3. The menu item “how to do spray paint art” became 2 lines (see in screen shot 4-The ‘?’ is in 2nd line). Screen shot 5 is how it looked before. Please keep this in mind while fixing as we need the things to be in the same line- exactly like in screen shot 5.

 

Thanks a lot Foster for your attention to the points above. We need the shop ready for many vendors. Hence, we need the solutions to be easy to implement for everyone.

Also, could you please write very very shortly how the issues were fixed so that we can track what changes have been made in case we face errors in the future, we will need the information to debug.

Eg comment: override template file xxx and new file in child theme folder.

UPDATE: Point 2 is indeed solved. There was cache issue on our end and somehow cache was not clearing without our knowledge. Hence, we thought the css was not working (We found you added a class and height to solve the issue). Thank you for fixing point 2.

Finally, hope your solutions are all compatible with all browsers (specially menu fix) and mobiles.

The issue with WP Bakery PageBuilder. You only need delete current version of this plugin and install update via Appearance > Install Plugin to fix.
