Major Issue of Claue's incompatibility with AliDropship plugin/ Erroneous coding

Hi Harry and Foster,

A Real Major Issue with Your Theme:

After spending countless hours on you theme, on Saturday, I found out that your theme is having major compatibility problems with the AliDropship Plugin (please see the issue below). After reading your replies on Support Forums, I immediately wrote an email to AliDropship plugin developers, and I have received a reply from them today, and they clearly state that the problem is caused by the faulty coding in your theme and not their plugin. This is what AliDropship plugin developere have replied:

The issue caused by the erroneous coding is as follows:

The Claue WooCommerce theme comes with Color and Size Swatches, as soon as the AliDropship Plugin becomes activated the Color and Size Swatches get messed up and start showing images instead of swatches, see the attached image “AliDropship_Swatch_Issue_2”.

But if the AliDropship plugin is deactivated, the swatches become functional again, see the attached image“AliDropship_Swatch_Issue_1”.

I went through your support forums and found that many other users of this theme are facing the same problem and, instead of finding a solution, you seem to have shifted the blame on AliDropship plugin. http://support.janstudio.net/forums/topic/new-installation-and-questions-about-appearance/page/4/

 

But AliDropship plugin’s developer are saying that the coding of Claue is faulty.

 

Since you are the developer of this theme, you must be very well aware of this problem because as I can see on the support forums, a lot of Claue’s users are doing dropshipping and must be using AliDropship plugin, and you have to find a solution so that I and many other users of this theme may use AliDropship plugin without any issues with your theme.

This is a very important and major issue and without the resolution of this issue, Claue theme is absolutely unusable for the very purpose I bought it for.

You must understand that despite a lot of issues with your theme, which we have gone through in another topic, I have spent countless hours on your theme just to make it work. Therefore, please provide a resolution as soon as possible so that I can launch my store in time, I do not want to delay it any longer.

Hi MSehdev,

The Color and Size Swatches of plugin AliDropship override HTML code and CSS style of our theme and plugin Variation Swatch. When you enable this plugin the product detail layout will load HTML and CSS of plugin not load HTML/CSS from our theme or plugin Variation Swatch so we said this because style of plugin AliDropship. You can switch to default theme “StoreFront” or “Twenty Seventeen” to check. We also make style of Color and Size Swatches of plugin AliDropship display better with our theme.

 

We not blame with plugin. They still use table for their HTML code. They have to improve their code or make something better for us can override their plugin style.

Hi Harry,

I do not agree with your above statement. You are the developer of this theme, so you can prioritize your theme’s  CSS in the custom CSS, if such a need arises. Your theme also has an image swatch option, see below:

This gives me reason to believe that your theme might be automatically switching over from color swatches  to image swatches as soon as AliDropship plugin is activated, thus messing up everything.

In any case, you have to find a solution to this problem because this issue is messing up the entire look of the theme and unduly delaying my entire project.

Please add below code to fix style of “Color” and “Size”

The color option on our theme was supported by plugin WooCommerce Variation Swatch http://janstudio.net/claue/document/#create-attributes and http://janstudio.net/claue/document/#create-product-color-swatches it not theme feature and plugin AirDropShip also have feature for variation swatches but it only support image swatch not color swatch. Hope you understand for us.

2.Please navigate to Claue Theme Options / WooCommerce / Product detail settings and disable “Enable sticky add to cart” option
