Multi Currency Issue

Hi Gecko,

My base currency is IDR (Indonesian Rupiah), when i use this currency, theres no problem at all..

but when I use USD, weird thing happens, please check the attachments

Hi,

I update some plugins and saw it work normal.

Can you check it again.

If still have issue you can try to disable Geolocate in Woocommerce > Settings > General.

Hi Harry,

The problem still persists. can you please also check with other payment gateway?  please try paypal standard or midtrans as we still got the problem when we use these payment gateway(It’s showing the right amount when I use the check payment gateway).

Yes, i change to another payment gateway it show correct. Now Paypal payment have issue with WooCommerce 3.0.5

Hi Harry,

I read this article https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/14956 and it seems that my issue is not the same.

I use USD and try to check out with paypal, but apparently the one that paypal get is my IDR price(but with USD symbol) not the USD one.

so when customer buy it supposed to be USD $71 (base currency – IDR 960.000) but instead they are charged for USD $960.000

please help me to sort this issue. i’m pulling my hair right now.

I am also facing the same issue, I have tested this with the bank account payment method.

For example I have a product selling for $100AUD (AUD being the base currency which is set).

A customer then want to purchase this product in Euros so they purchase it for 60 Euro.

I then check the order in the back end of the site and it is showing 100 Euro instead.

So it has switched the value with the base currency.

Any ideas?

Hey I noticed an update to the theme is now available. The changelog stated updates to the currency converter so I updated but the issue is still there.

Has anyone else updated and tested? This is causing major delays in selling internationally!

Yes, I update my theme just now. but the issue still there.

Or can you suggest us other currency converter plugin that works with gecko theme?

I try to use aelia currency converter but it didn’t work (I use Aelia for my previous theme).

Thank you, but there’s still a minor problem, I need to round up the Paypal price so it’s matched with the cart total price.

(When I tried to order, in checkout page it’s USD $165 but in Paypal payment page it’s 164,81 I need to round it up )

You can deactivate plugin JAS-Addon and delete exist, after that it will display message to you can reinstall this plugin.

Hey Guys,

This still isnt working. Now a new problem is showing up.

Once the order is complete the sub total shows the correct amount but the total shows a completely different amount.

See Screenshot, Please help!

yep, now there’s new issue.

when I try to use Midtrans payment, it’s showing IDR 46 instead of 620.000 because the midtrans gateway is using IDR as their accepted currency. before, when I use Aelia Currency Switcher this thing is not a problem, unfortunately I can’t use this plugin on Gecko Theme.
