Multiple Questions

Dear Team,

 

I have a couple of questions regarding the theme and it will be great if you can help me out.

1) I can not see a review option on the product page. Please tell me how to enable the same.

2) Please tell me how to disable the category description ?  (There is an option to remove the page title but not the descripton and hence the content added for SEO purposes is visible on the website, which we do not want to be visible) E.g. http://piggyparcels.com/product-category/apparels/

3) The OpenSwatch menu is showing but it is empty inside. Please tell me how to correct.

4) Please tell us how to add the product filter option like you have on     http://janstudio.net/gecko/fashion/product-category/accessories/

Hi,

1. You can enable review on product detail at Dashboard > WooCommerce >  Settings > Products

2. You can disable category description by remove description of category

or add custom css in JanStudio > Theme Option > General Layout > Custom CSS

3.You can enable option of OpenSwatch plugin in Dashboard > WooCommerce > MG OpenSwatch Optionand follow our document at janstudio.net/gecko/document/index.html navigate to WooCommerce Settings > Product’s Attribute and  Product color and size section

4. You can enable filter like our demo at Appearance > Widgets > add YITH ajax filter to WooCommerce Top Sidebar

Dear Team,

 

I was in love with the theme till now but the Open Swatch Plugin that you recommended changed my views completely. When I downloaded and activated the plugin, all my product attributes and the variations were reset. I now will have to enter all the details like, color, size, stock, price, sale price, weight and the smallest of information manually for thousands of products that exist on my website. There was no notice or disclaimer as well which could warn us about the same. Please do not recommend any such third party themes using your platform. I would recommend you take immediate action to prevent others from facing the problem that I just faced. I would like to be compensated for the same.

First of all, we are sorry for the inconvenience. But I’m really confusing the problem. Could you describe the problems you are having with it? the version of theme, version of that plugin etc… and please provide us a temporary admin account to check this problem on your site

We have an active website. We were recommended to download open swatch plug in. Once we downloaded, all the current products existing setting like variations, variation pictures, their price, quantity and every other information was removed. We have now disabled the plugin but the earlier information has been reset permanently. We have requested our hosting to restore the backup and they are likely to charge us $150 which we are trying to negotiate.
