Product page layout issues for price variations – PRODUCTS CAN'T BE PURCHASED!

Hi Harry,

I’m having some layout issues when viewing product pages with price variations.

For example: https://www.consciouscrafties.com/handmade-gifts/handmade-gradient-yarn-cake-in-velvet-morning/

1.The featured or gallery images are not displayed

2. The price fails to display when user selects a price option

3. The tabs for Descriptions, Additional info, Ratings, My Story and Shipping all appear mixed up together in every tab ie all information for these tabs is displayed together when clicking on the individual tabs

4. ‘You may also like’ upsell products do not display

5. When user selects the Add To Basket button, the mini cart does not appear

6. If user tries to click on the basket/cart icon (top right) they are not navigated to the basket (it does nothing) and customers are unable to go to basket or checkout to purchase their item.

However when logged in as Admin or Site Owner the variation product page displays correctly (which is very odd). The above only happens for logged in users of other roles or for users who aren’t logged in.

Just noticed there is a No.7 too:

When user is viewing products with price variations, if they click on the hamburger menu icon nothing happens – it says Javascript Void

But I’ve just noticed my menu appears right at the bottom under the footer when viewing products with price options (see screenshot)

Hi Karen,

I check your as guest user and see it still work well but i see have issue with “Timepicker” so it cause conflict js, could you please try deactivate plugin related to timepicker and add below code for style of product page

div.product-addon {
    display: block;
    width: 100%;
}

I stayed up all night deactivating plug ins and changing to Storefront theme and finally the layout issues are ok! Phew!

Thanks for taking a look, I have searched for ‘Timepicker’ in Cpanel but couldn’t find it in any tables. Is there any way I can find this out? (sorry to ask)

The only layout issue now is the additional menu at the bottom of every page (for all users and all products).

Oh the layout issue with the additional menu…. that was my fault and all solved (sorry!)

So it’s just finding which plug in uses ‘TimePicker’ now 🙂

Thank you very much, that’s good news as that’s always been a troublesome plugin. Thankfully I’ll be removing it soon as the ‘Order Note to Seller’ box (you helped me with layout issues) is going to be replacing the functionality of WC Fields Factory 🙂
