If I wanted to create a build-a-bear type of website how would I go about doing it? For instance, I want my variations to change the product price individually. I want my base product price to be fixed but the variations are add-ons so they increase the total price. Therefore, if I wanted to add eyes to the bear then the price would go up, if I wanted to add clothes to the bear then the price would go up, if I wanted to add shoes to the bear then the price would go up. However, you can get shoes with no clothes or clothes with no eyes. Is there a function that would allow me add variations independent of each other to a fixed cost on the base product?

Hi,
You can add individual price for variations http://take.ms/02upt don’t a plugin or other function.

That’s not really what I am trying to do. I want my variation to increase the base price of my product by a certain amount. For my company I make bags and in this example let’s say the base price of a bag is $100. However, if you want to add foot studs to the bottom of your bag that will cost an additional $30. Also, instead of a button closure you want a zipper closure well that is going to be a $20 increase. Therefore, if you wanted to add both variations then the total price would be $150. However, you don’t have to get both so if a client only wanted to add studs then the price would be $100 + $30 so a total of $130. How would I make this add-on function work?

I need it to just be a variation though because these are not different products they just variations to the same product. Is there no way to put a value on a product variation (increase price by x dollars)? If not is there a way to code this?

Hi,
As i know the user can’t add 2 more variations of product in same time, it only way you create separate product and combine in a bundle.
Best regards
