Question about Product Variation plugin for claue theme

I want to make a custom layout for my product page, so i use elementor template to create my website product page
but i had no idea with how to make it like default gallery that can allow user to see the gallery image when user had choose the Variation.

For example: when user choose the Pink Variation, only the gallery image which we put under pink only can show, other will be hide. but i try to use the Elementor – Product gallery, it doesnt work as default.
so now i use my shortcode to display image

Do we need any shortcode to archive it? or any way to display it?

Please change short code by product images element https://tppr.me/ENyjK and go to Claue > Theme Option > WooCommerce > Product Detail Settings and select product layout 2

Hi Support, i follow ur instructions, but the product gallery element cant like if i change the color variation, but the image still remain same, didnt follow like if i choose red, then the image become red too

Hi, I had updated the plugin to latest version +  upload iimage to each category
but if i use the elementor to do template, it still cant do like change based on the variable to change the product gallery.
Or can you do a sample for me in my staging? or any step i mess up?

I activate default product layout but can’t click on available variation, can you please deactivate plugin one by one to make variation swatch on on default product layout first.

Hi , I try on default theme preset can already

Abstract Flare Sleeves Top

but the elementor still remain same , it couldn’t been change when i select the variation.

And also i have a question wish to ask u, is it the plugin -WooCommerce Variation Swatch (by theme file have ) having some bug with custom attribute add? when i add some attribute on the product page, the front end cant be choose able after i upgrade the plugin until 1.5 , previous can. but if i use the attribute tag by woocommerce then it work fine.

Hi anjetrading,

I’m sorry the plugin variation swatch not work with elementor for gallery color so you can switch layout define by theme.

I recommend use global attribute, more plugin not work with custom attribute.

Ok Thanks Support, i got last question. Do the claue default theme can have a hover effect on shop page to show second image/image on gallery  http://janstudio.net/claue/demo/shop-metro-layout/ like the bigger image for this.

Hi,

Yes, our theme already support hover effect to show second image. You can turn it on in Claue > Theme Option > WooCommerce > Product Listing Settings > Flip Product Thumbnail > On and you should set the second image in gallery different with main image https://tppr.me/9ZCYi

To enable metro layout you need turn on Enable Large Thumbnail of main image.

Hi Harry, thanks for it, i already done it, one more question i want to clarify
do i change on the theme template, in future i update the theme , will it replace the code in the theme template? or should i create a location under the child theme

Hi Anjetrading,

You should create location in child theme. All your change in parent theme will be remove when you update.
