      We got our first transaction on our website today but for some reason the tax was not collect. The tax is enabled on our site and it calculates tax after address is put in. However, the PayPal showed $0.00 tax. Can you assist with this?

      Hi,

      What you’re describing here sounds like you must be using PayPal Standard, which comes with Woo by default, as opposed to our Express Checkout integration. PayPal Standard is the only way tax rules configured in the PayPal account profile would be triggered. Express Checkout ignores those.

      So if you’re still using Standard it would really be recommended that you switch to Express Checkout instead. It has a lot more features and functionality available to it, and a better overall checkout experience for buyers.

        Yes, I was using standard. I switched to express, however, it still did not calculate the taxes for me.

      Thanks, I figured it out. I had to deactivate TaxJar plugin so I could switch to the automated tax feature. Personally, I do not like the express checkout because the big PayPal buttons look tacky in my opinion.

      Actually, its still not working even though the settings are correct. I provided screenshots.

      I turned on the automated taxes and connected the JetPack plugin to my store for Woocommerce and it’s still not showing tax value.
