Hi Guys,
Could you check out why your theme conflicts with plugin “woo commerce multi currency”?
On frontend the rates show correct, but the currency icon does not change and shows only €.
I contacted Villatheme for it, but they referred to you.
Cheers

Hi Robin,
If you don’t change any code of parent theme you can update theme without any problem.
We recommend move all customize code to child theme. And in future you can update parent theme while prevent customize code in child theme.

Thank you!
Last question:
If I make a child theme now from the original Gecko theme customized by me, will all customized code be in it?
So if I make a child now, will that child be good to go live and let the original theme auto update in the background?
Cheers

Hi Robin,
If you activate child theme now, you have to re-arrange widget in Appearance > Widget to the sidebar like it now. Other things still work well.
Best regards
