Variation swatches don't show picture

I seem to have the same problem on my site. Could you please explain what to do to have the image display after selecting a variation using the variation swatch?! The feature image is displayed when the product detail page is loaded but disappears after the variation swatch is clicked.

Did you using lazyload image plugin, please try disable this plugin it auto insert wrong HTML tag cause error js http://prntscr.com/njg7w5

I have used Autoptimize to lazyload images but the problem was there before I turned it on and now I have turned it off again and still no success with the missing images after variation swatch click! 🙁

I will leave lazyload by Autoptimize deactivated for now, but do you have any other suggestions?

It turned out to be problems caused by Autoptimize after all! After deactivating it, manually removing the cache it had created and then activating it again, I managed to try the settings out some more. There are two separate settings that causes the image problem after selecting a variation swatch – Image lazy-loading AND the second checkbox in the Javascript section; “Aggregate JS-files?”.

I am glad it started working again but is there anything you can do or recommend to compensate for the missing page optimization this causes? Lazy-loading of images and javascript aggregation seem like a good idea!

Hi,

Please try enable lazy-load images and Aggregate JS-files again and check. Sometimes the cache file not clear old js it cause error. You have to un-minify js remove cache file and minify again.
