Very slow Shop & Ajax Product Filter

Dear Developers,

My shop is really slow, it takes about 3 seconds to load a product or go back. The Shop itself is not available over the menu. The link is: https://***/shop/

In GMetrix the site gets a Speed Score of A (95) but the loading time is about 10 sec.

Further, the Ajax Product Filter won’t show the right picture. So when I choose yellow, the filter gives me a product, that is available in yellow, but shows the wrong picture. => It is always the main product picture. And the “AND” Logic won’t work fine. So when a product e.g. yellow and XL is not in stock, the filter will show XL after selecting yellow. This makes the user think the product is in stock.

1. I check and see you use big image https://prnt.sc/rrnr27 so the site will load slow, please upload the image with width about 370 – 470px

2. The filter only sort product have attribute yellow it need have other action to change the main image to yellow and it also don’t know which variation out of stock.

tank you for your answer.

1. I know they are big, but super light. To show you that this is not the problem, I created a product without a picture: https://****/produkt/ein-weiteres-produkt/ The loading time is still about 3 seconds. Also when open any other page e.g. Impressum or Datenschutz. There are no big pictures as well. Still about 3 Seconds. So the problem have to be somewhere else… sorry :/

Please use plugin Autoptimize and Super Cache

And use CDN cache( CouldFlare).

I will install them. Can you tell me which settings are necessary? I am not familiar with these plugins.

 

I tried W3TotalCashe and it slowed down the site to a first loading time about 9 seconds. The second visit then was super fast.. but.. 9 Seconds for the first time is way too bad. Maybe this is my fault and this is why I am asking for the right settings.

Hi,

Just check to minify JS, CSS, HTML. The plugin have more option so you can follow plugin document i’m not remember all option of plugins.
