Few questions on Product detail pages / cart – mini cart / Pin Maker

Hello dear,

We have some issues on product detail pages :

1/ Please indicate us how to set up on a product picture a rectangle with the word “NEW”,  “BACK IN STOCK”, “SOLD OUT”, “SALE” or etc…? Can we choose the word ? If it is on left or right side of the picture ? And the color of the rectangle ? We see grey, blue and orange/red ones. See attached document1 -> red surrounded circle

2/ How could we hide for customers the “SKU / Categories / Tags ” information ? We need all this information to manage our website (for pages/relted products etc..), but don’t want to overload the product pages with unuseful information for the clients. Please see attached document2 -> red surrounded circle

3/ How could we translate in French please the following terms on the product detail pages : “Size Guide”, “Delivery & Return” => Please see attached document 3.1 / and “Related Products”, “You may also like” (from up-sells linked products) =>  Please see attached document 3.2

4/ How could we translate in French please, in the cart, “You may be interested in” (from cross-sells linked products) ? And all the other terms in english in red surrounded circles -> Please see attached document 4.

5/ How could we add a “note” for customers in the cart, with a text area ?

6/ How could we translate also the mini cart ? And set up all the buttons also in French / change the words ?

7/ On the product detail pages, we love PIN MAKER, but we can only use them in the “Description” from now. Is it possible to add them instead of “You may also like” products (up-sells products) or instead of the “Related products” ?

8/ Please indicate us how we can translate also terms in PIN MAKER detail : “Detail” and “Buy now” buttons.

Hi Nina,

1. It now our theme only support “New”, “Sale”, “Sold Out” badge. You can change text by install plugin Loco Translate > Theme > Claue > and create new language as French and change the text as you want http://support.janstudio.net/forums/topic/theme-translation/

– You can change background color in Claue > Theme Option > WooCommerce > Product Listing Settings

– Let us know which badge you want show on left, which one you want show on right we will give you code. It now these badges fixed postion.

2. you can hide categories, tags, SKU by add below code to Claue > Theme Option > General Layout > Custom CSS

3, 4, 6. Please use plugin Loco Translate and go to > Loco > theme > Claue > Edit French http://support.janstudio.net/forums/topic/theme-translation/

5. You mean have textarea for customter can add note, it has on checkout page https://prnt.sc/sd6ioh? Or if you want add your note to customer please go to Theme Option > WooCommerce > Cart & Checkout Settings

7. I’m sorry it only can show in description can’t show in You may also like or Related products

8. Please go to Loco Translate > Plugin > Pin Maker > Create French and find string to translate.

Thank you for your return, it really helps us. Regarding your responses :

1/ We don’t understand how to set up a badge for one specific product. Please indicate us how to set up for instance a “NEW” badge for one product only ? How could we change the color of this badge please ?

5/ Yes we need to have a textarea for customer who want to add a note, like it has on checkout page https://prnt.sc/sd6ioh. How can we set up that please ?

7/ Ok what a shame for PIN Maker. Is there another way to show PIN MAKER in the product detail pages ? Above Related products ? If not, can we :
– show them in the Homepage ? If yes, in which section ?
– create a new page with only Pin Makers ?

Could you please explain how to set up the Instagram shop with Snapppt ? Do we have automatically an account which has been created ? How does it work please ?

9/ About the “Search Results for” page : how can we translate this page please ? And also change the picture on this page, behind the title ? We cannot find this page in Pages > All pages

10/ We have already install plugin “woo-custom-fields” – When we cross “required fields”, we have an error message in english; Please indicate us how we can translate it

For question 1/ sorry we forgot to precise you that we want to show badges on right side of the picture product only, not left.

Hi Nina,

1. By default when you create new product the badge will show on product 5 days. If you want show badge more please edit product and scroll down to Product Layout Option > New Arrival and put number of day it will show badge from the day created product.

I check on my local it show on right https://prnt.sc/sd93uy not on left the image you show on other theme.

5. I’m sorry it only support textarea field on checkout page not support show on cart page.

7. You can copy short-code of Pinmaker and insert to product description and above “Related Product and You may also like” you can add short code add part support text editor

Our previsous questions 2/ 3/ 4/ 5/ 7/ 9/ are all solved, thank you !

We still have few questions :

1/ a/ Please indicate us how to set up a “SALE” badge for one product only ? b/ And how to set up “SOLD OUT” badge for another ? c/ For the “NEW” badge, we try to translate in French term but the badge rectangle is too small for French word. How can we do to enlarge the rectangle please ? Please see attached Question 1 screenshot with the hidden “NOUVEAUTE” French word.

4/ bis – a/ Please see attached Question 4/ screenshot => In the cart and checkout pages, we cannot find how to translate in French the red rectangle. Where can we set up this text please ? b/  How can we set up delivery costs to be able to use this calculation function ?

6/ Please see attached Question 6/ screenshot => In Mini Cart, “Validation de la” means nothing in French. A word is missing. Where can we change this wording button please ? In Loco Translate we can only change “Mini Cart” that we translate by “Resumé”

8/ 10/ We don’t manage to translate into the plugin, could you please help us ? Please see attached Question 8/ screenshot, and what we set up for “Buy now” translation – It still does not work, we still have “buy now” instead of “acheter”

Thanks a ot for your responses ! 6/ is ok, perfect

1/ Ok very clear thanks. Can you give us two codes for each badge ? Because the “SOLD OUT” one, we want to translate with “Bientôt de retour en stock” and we need to increase the height badge.
The “NEW” badge one is perfect with only width modification.

Plus, how could we change the colors of these 3 badges please ? By default, NEW is blue, SALE s orange and SOLD OUT is grey.

4/ For the translation issue, please see attached screenshot 4. => The phrase is translated but it doesn’t work in the cart and checkout pages ?

Hi Nina,

1. For “SALE” please go to Loco > Theme > Claue but “SOLD OUT” the text so long, please add below code to Claue > Theme Option > General Layout > Custom CSS

.badge .sold-out {
	background: #999;
	width: 90px;
	height: 24px;
}

and change 90, 24 to your number and #999 with your color code

to change background of New and Sale please go to Theme Option > Color Scheme > Product Badge Color

8/10/ Please go to Loco > plugin > woocommerce > edit template > sync > save and back to translate and try again.

11. I help you adjust the footer left.

We still cannot solve some translations issues 4/

As a summary of pending issues :

4/ In Cart and Checkout pages => please see attached 4/ Question : wording in the red rectangle. The translation is already set up but we still view in Cart and Checkout pages the English version.

=> Please check in our website what’s wrong with this translation. We follow your instructions but it doesn’t work.

11/ Still waiting for your return on the Footer issue.
