Image size recommandations

Hi,

What should be the image size for each image uploaded for each product?

Right now having some issues if I’m uploading the images as 2000×2000 and let WordPress re-size them it doesn’t do pretty much anything: https://mineliboutique.ro/produs/botine-de-dama-crystal-rbxmineli/ as you can see the product is zoomed straight from the beginning and if I hover it gets bigger…I would like the be able to see the product in full in each picture and get the zoom only on hover as it should work.

Right now this are the image sizes in WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Display > Product Images: https://imgur.com/ytk7R3C

Also if I upload the thumbnail at a small size it shows as the first picture when going in product details and because the image is too small it look blurry .

Do you have a list with all the recommended image sizes for all the stuff on the theme?

Forgot to mention that right now I run again the Regenerate Thumbnails in WordPress. Also when adding a new product which one will be the thumbnail picture? I’m assuming Product Image but just want to make sure.

Hi,

New image you upload will get new size you’ve just config so you don’t have to regenerate thumbnail again.

Hi Marius,

I saw your site’s original images are square. so you change setting of image to square

– 370 x 370

– 750 x 750

– 160 x 160
