Hi there
When I use the standard Gecko search in the header:
Then the tags of the products are not searched. How can I set this search up to also search through the tags, short description and long description.
If this is not possible with the Gecko search, what should I use and how can I put the new search field in the place of the Gecko search_
Thanks
Walter

Thanks Harry
I installed the Advanced Woo Search. I think when I select ‘ Seamless integration’ the search field does not show up anywhere. And also the standard Gecko search does not search through tags.
I put the shortcode for the Advanced search field into the footer, just to see if it works, and it does, but I want it in the header.
Question: How can I place the Advanced Woo Search field into the place where the standard Gecko search field is?
Thanks
Walter

Hi Walter,
Please copy file layout-x.php in gecko > views > header to gecko-child > views > header
X is number of header layout using for your site.
And use short code of plugin replace current search form.

I do not seem to have a gecko-child folder. Do I need to install the gecko child theme as well as the gecko theme?
Ho can I find out which layout number I am using?
Thanks
