Variation swatches and variations gallery

Hello Harry,

I have an issue with the variation swatches on the shop page and variation galleries on the product page.

1- All the products on the shop have a default variable color, that mean by default specfic color should be selected.
but when you visit the shop page the default color is not selected and you have to pick one.

2- but in the product page it gets even worse, because the default color is selected and the image is displaying correctly but the gallery is still for the parent produt not for the variation.
In order to see the gallery for the color you want, you have to change the color back and forth.

this is really driving me crazy because I had an issue with the swatches before and I couldn’t make my premium plugin work with the claue theme, and I had to go a long with the swatches functionality as it is, but now it is very bad and not helpful at all.

Please test the issue on the first product Huawei nova 3i because the other products doesn’t have color gallery.

Hi Sprado,

Sorry because inconvenience.

1. The plugin variation swatch doesn’t have feature to show selected color on shop page. We recommend use the main image for selected color variation. (Example selected color variation is red, the main image should be red).

2. For gallery product not everyone use gallery color for their product so the plugin show default parent gallery, if you want show selected color for gallery we recommend upload same gallery for selected color with default gallery.
