I’ve come accross a very important issue regarding variation swatches for colors.
If you set up only a color code, this will be used. But the moment you use an image for a new swatch, all the next new swatches that you will create after will use that same image you used for the last one.
You can of course change the image for each swatch, but you can’t revert back to using just a color code.
This is because you cannot “delete” or unclick the image for new swatches that you create, and the image is added by default once you have used an image for another swatch. So by default it uses the last image you imported for your previous swatch and you cannot use color code anymore, even if you change that color code it is overwritten by default image…
I added attachments showing this where you see there is no option to remove or delete image.
