Visual Compose Posts have changed since the 5.0 WordPress Update

Hi I notice that visual composer only works on pages not posts. The wpbakery option is missing in your theme. Why is this as in other Themes I use like The Bridge theme you can use visual composer on posts. Also the post page has become long and thin since the WordPress 5.0 update. Why is this and can you change it?
