For product categories, there is no indication to users that a category also has a sub-category. Can we add a small (down)arrow automatically to categories that have sub-categories. If this could be included in upcoming update then that would be great. Any chances?

    Hi Harry,

1a> The product categories that we added on Homepage is getting cropped from left side of screen. This issue is happening only on Mobile site (screenshot below). Can there be a solution?

1b> As seen in screenshot above, the product categories are coming in two rows? When we add more categories will this become 3 rows and so on? How to confine the categories in only 1 row(1 single line) ?

1c> The dropdown for sub-categories does not work on Mobile site. Any views/solution on this?

2> Similar to adding categories on Homepage, how do we add these categories on “Sale” Page too? Thanks!

P.S. I’m seeing this Warning: The Envato Toolkit plugin is no longer supported and will stop functioning very shortly. Please delete the Envato Toolkit plugin and install the new Envato Market plugin.

Is it OK to install and activate the new Envato Market plugin? Pls let me know

Just for my information, what does activating Isotope option really do? I tried and couldn’t find any difference in masonry layout.

You can use these plugins but have to disable Ajax Add to cart in Woocommerce > Settings > Product > Add to cart behavior (uncheck 2 last fields)

    Thanks for the heads-up.

    Thank you, Harry.

    2. It worked like a charm!

    1. Sorry it can’t apply discount percent for variable product

    1.  Understanding that there are logical difficulties for applying discount percent on variable product because there are can be different price for variations. But, wouldn’t it be possible to even apply the % discount to any one of the variations (ideally the default variation on product page). Displaying discounts on simple products and not on variable products gives a inconsistent user experience. (Yes, displaying “sale” badge instead of percentage makes the experience uniform but not showing % discount reduces user clicks and conversions)

Awesome Harry! Thanks a lot. That was smooth like butter.

P.S. The .zip contained a _MACOSX folder which I did not include. Let me know if that was needed too.

    Hi Harry,

I too really wish there was an option in theme to include the “shop menu”(product categories) in homepage and other pages as navigation for user would get easier.

Are there any instructions on how to customize the child theme code to include the shop menu on homepage?

    Hey Harry,

Thanks for your response. I’ve come across couple of plugins for product personalization. They are:

    1> https://woocommerce.com/products/product-add-ons/

    2> https://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-extra-product-options/7908619

I’m still checking if they fit my requirement. If not,I’ll check out wpkraken as suggested by you. Thanks.

Thanks a lot Harry. Last thing, I don’t know what I did(probably deleted the inactive Swatch plugin). Size L was earlier shown in rounded shape on product page but now it is shown in a drop down. How to change it back to round shape?

in reply to: Product Variation Size & Color Images #16283

Sure Harry. But if you go to the product page on site, and click on that size L, most of the images disappear. How to sought this?
