    Hi Harry,

Thank you for your reply and the code snippet. We’ve added it in the custom css field but no change. We also tried adding it in the style.css folder in the theme editor and no luck there either. All caches were cleared before we tested it.

    Hi Harry,

    Thank you for your reply.

I think you misunderstood a couple of my questions though.

    5. We only need the ‘sort by latest’ on the New Arrivals page, not for all of the product categories. This is why we set up New Arrivals as a separate page. But we need it to look like the other shop pages and to have the Woocommerce filter on it. You said above that it is not possible to have the filter on the normal page, only on the category or shop page. So we can change New Arrivals from a normal page to a shop category, but how can we then have the product sorting just for this category to be ‘sort by latest’? Or if this is not possible, can you advise what code snippet we need to add to get the product filter to appear on the current New Arrivals page?

    8. Thank you kindly for that. 🙂  The question was, we know that page builder does not do default sizes for images but do you know what should be the best pixel size dimension for this media grid layout? We need to know so we can optimise the images properly.

    10. We already have a background uploaded for the whole website but the question was not about that. When the page title is switched on, it has an ugly big grey band across the screen with the name of the page in white in the middle. See here  https://prnt.sc/mv1vfu   How can we change the colour of the grey band and the writing? We have tried a few of the typography settings but none of them worked.

    11. We did clear the cache and the pop up still kept popping up on multiple visits even though it was set to stop for 3 days. Thanks for the suggestion on the other plugin, we’ll take a look.

    Thanks again.

    Hi Harry,

Thank you very much for your reply.

    5. We don’t mind making the ‘New Arrivals’ page into a Category instead of a page. But when we create it as a category, how can we show nothing but ranging by latest products? (basically we want to show the shop page results but this time to show them in ‘latest’ order instead of custom sort) With adding categories, it looks like it is just manual clicking to add products to them. Let us know what you meant by showing ‘sort by latest’ just for this one category.

    7. Thank you, that worked great! 🙂

    8. It looks like it is already a media grid. Did you go ahead and switch it from gallery to media grid? If yes then thank you! 🙂  We originally scaled down the photos to make sure they would fit the container but the quality (especially on mobile) is terrible. We know that page builder does not do default sizes for images but do you know what should be the best pixel size dimension for this layout?

    10. We know about switching the page title off. But apparently this has a really bad impact on SEO because the page title is a H1 tag (is this true?). If we can’t switch off the page title, can you please tell us where we can change the colour of the big grey band and the text? We tried a few different ones in ‘typography’ but none of them were the right ones.

    11. The new site has been live for a few days now and we noticed that the yith newsletter popup keeps popping up every time you load up the website even though we selected in the setting for it to go away for 3 days after it has been closed by a user. We have now had to switch it off altogether because it would not stop. Could you please let us know how to force it to not show for 3 days after someone closes it?

    Thanks again!

    Hi Harry,

Thanks so much for the code, it worked, thank you kindly!

We’ve now completed the set up for this site and have some hopefully final issues to resolve.

    – In the shopping cart the green ‘continue shopping’ button doesn’t go anywhere, nothing happens when you click on it – assuming that it should redirect back to the store page?

    – How can we remove the subcategories boxes on the Dresses page which now appear?

    – Can the filter headings on the product catalogue pages be made expandable/collapsible – is there some kind of a code snippet we can use for that? Otherwise all the filter options carry on down the page for an eternity.

-The search option currently gives out of stock results too, how can we prevent the items which are marked as out of stock from appearing?

-We’ve created a ‘New in’ page on the menu. The same sidebar option is enabled as for the other pages, however only the categories show instead of the filter which should also show like on the other pages.

-Is there a lazy load option built in for the site? Is so how do we enable this?

-On the home page, below the slider in the static row, under ‘customer reviews’ we added some text with a link to a page with customer reviews. However, the link keeps disappearing and/or going to a 404 error. Can you advise how to add a link inside this ‘icon and text’ field in the pagebuilder?

-The pictures on the homepage. We added a customer gallery, used the same pixel dimensions as the demo photos from the Instagram feed (320×320) yet the pictures came out much larger. So we ended up scaling back the pixel dimensions on the customer gallery photos ourselves (under Don’t you look lovely!’) but now they are no longer responsive on mobile. Could you advise how this is done? We did follow the settings which were there for the demo instagram feed.

This is the same with the photos above linking to categories (eg one is Shop skirts). These were set up in the demo as boxes, yet these uploaded as rectangles. We could not find anywhere inside the pagebuilder box options where we can change the dimensions or reduce the size.

    10. We’ve now reactivated Site Ground’s caching plugin in to try to speed up the site, and we have minification and other options enabled, however the site load Tools.pingdom is still extremely slow.
    (see:  https://tools.pingdom.com/#5a45da7a6c800000  )

Any suggestions on how to speed this up? We are already running into issues on some browsers like Edge with lazy loading (slider doesn’t appear) so not sure that an extra minification option is the way to go.

Thanks very much in advance for your assistance.

    Hi Harry,

Thank you for your reply and Chúc Mừng Năm Mới!

We managed to get the WOOCS currency plugin properly integrated and working which means that with the plugin activated, the prices are now geolocating based on user’s country IP. We will be able to test if the rates autoupdate feature is working properly in a day or so.

One issue however. In switching to the WOOCS plugin, we had to switch of the Claue currency switcher and change to the WOOCS one. We have inserted the shortcode for it into the header but the styling is now off and it doesn’t fit at all with the Claue look.

We have tried adding adding some different custom css code to at least reduce the width of the box and remove the container (outline) its in but none of what we tried has worked.

Can you suggest some css code for this or to change the style and look of the currency switcher to the Claue one?

    Many thanks

    Hi Harry,

Any progress on the geolocating issue? The currency still defaults to USD when they load up the site regardless of customer’s location.

    Many thanks

P.S. Our host provider Siteground have confirmed that nothing on their end is causing this.

A follow on from the previous post. So we’ve worked out what you did and were able to reverse it. We can now log into the site’s WP admin panel again.

Changing the Woocommerce setting from “geolocate” to “geolocate (with paging cache support)” adds  an ‘?v=hash’ IP address hash to every single url on the site. This does not fix the geolocation issue, just breaks the admin panel login because of that string and creates other issues.

In the video you showed above from your website, there are none of these strings attached to the url’s and the woocommerce settings are just ‘geolocate’.  So the currency locating and switching in Claue can work on these settings but it is not working on our sites. Its not working with WOOCS either (even though WOOCS works on our site with the old theme).

We paid for this theme for two of our sites, with extended support for both of them (not just once) and right now we have a theme that does not have this currency feature working properly on either site. Telling us to use WOOCS when WOOCS causes other currency errors which we already explained is not the answer.

Could you please investigate the issue and advise on the fix.
