      Hi,

I am trying to get the same image size for every product on the main page. I am using the ratio 2:4 and cropped all images to the same size with paint. net and uploaded them again.

But the primary image is still longer than the another and the flip image shorter than the primary one.

So all I want is the same size for every image by keeping the ratio of 2:4.

      Any ideas?

      Thanks

      Hi Chris,

Please go to Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Product Image and change Thumbnail cropping to 2:4

After that go to Tools > Regenerate Thumbnail to rebuild images.

      Kind regards

      Hi Chris,

I check your site and see the original image doesn’t have same dimension http://take.ms/VV4Kf so it can’t crop to same dimension, it now only crop to same width.

You have to crop original image or disable flip image in Theme Option > WooCommerce > Product Listing Settings > Flip Thumbnail > Off

      Kind regards

Ahh alright, thanks for looking into it.

I cropped the previous photos only to the same length and thought when regenerating thumbnails WP would crop them to the correct ratio.

I will give this a try and see how it goes

      Thanks, mate

      Hi Harry,

so I cropped the images to a width of 750 and it worked for the first three. Now I god an image which I cropped to the same widht, but can not get it to the length to match the others.

Is there a way to tell the WP or the Theme it should keep a certain length like 600 for example?

So if a photo A is 1200 long and Photo B is 800 long, WP or the Theme just cuts it off.

I changed the ratio to 3 : 5 and this works pretty well for me for now. Thank you for your help Harry

      Hey again,

just a quick question regarding the size of the images on the homepage. Is there a way to crop them automatically to a certain size as we can with the catalogue images?

Depending on the photo I am uploading the sizes are different from image to image. Of course, the one in the middle should be bigger than the ones left and right. But these should be equal to each other

As you can see “Bags” is bigger than “Footwear”. And “Belts”, the one in the lower left corner” is bigger than all four.

      Thank you

      Hi Chris,

I’m sorry it doesn’t option to auto crop image for category banner. You should crop on your local before upload.

      Kind regards
