Hi Team.
I was hired to make a store with WooCommerce and it will be the first time I use WP. A couple of years ago I designed one online store with Prestashop, but that’s all. Generally I work with HTML5 websites. I want to start tomorrow, so I guess I will use Bitnami application to work offline, if you have any other suggestions, please let me know. The tips I seek right now are about to avoid issues betweeen this theme and the app/plugin I’ll use. The plugin selected for the online migration is WP All In One Migration, and as far as I know this plugin must be installed locally and on the server side before perform the migration.
The hosting is Essential WP of Ipage https://goo.gl/WUqqTA.
Any further advice will be very welcome.
Thanks in advance!
Flavio H. Lopez.

Hi,
Thank you for purchase our theme.
Sorry we don’t have experience to use Bitnami, we use Xamp to working offline.
Now you want migrate your database from Prestashop to WordPress? or you want build you site on local and migrate to server?
If you migrate from local to server i recommend use this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/
Best regards
Harry

Hi Harry
It will be a new online store. Last night I saw that this hosting service (Ipage) have a Sandbox service. So, I think I’m going to work online in the hosting side, but in the Sandbox mode, which is invisible for SEO and I will be able to import the current online site, and then when the work is finished, I’ll export the store to production (online site). I’ll share the outcome in case another customer ask for tips regarding Sandbox.
Now it’s time to work.
Thanks for your time Harry and have a great weekend!
Regards.
