Mailchimp and Pop Up on Home Page

Hi

I wanted to offer 15% discount codes for all those subscribed via pop up form on existing CLAUE as an automated service. But in order to do that I had to install Mailchimp for Woocommerce plugin as recommended by Mailchimp customer service – with the standard Mailschimp for WP plugin there was no connection to my shop created.

But I’m not sure how to do it right. I’m attaching the plugin.

Hi Tom,

There are 2 different plugins for mailchimp.

– YITH WooCommerce Popup for popup

– Mailchimp for WordPress on footer

You can enable mailchimp for WooCommerce by go to Mailchim for WordPress > Integrations > WooCommerce Checkout and enable this feature http://prntscr.com/li7i45 don’t need Mailchimp for WooCommerce plugin.

Hi

I have tried to subscribe via pop up but it doesn’t work. after hiting “Subscribe” nothing happens, no errors. You can test it yourself.

Hi,

Please add your API key and choose mailchimp list in setting and do follow this

Open wp-content/plugins/yith-woocommerce-popup/includes/newsletter-integration/Mailchimp.php

Line 77 change this:

add_action( 'wp_ajax_ypop_nopriv_subscribe_mailchimp_user', array( $this, 'subscribe_mailchimp_user'));

for this:

add_action( 'wp_ajax_nopriv_ypop_subscribe_mailchimp_user', array( $this, 'subscribe_mailchimp_user'));

We have changed it and provided API. Now pop up window shows an error: “Something went wrong:Mailchimp list related error (basic action)”
